Very nice

Posted Nov 8, 2014
Pros: The room was clean and odor free, had a microwave, refrigerator and a table and 2 chairs. They also had a pool. Staff were very friendly & helpful.
Cons: They did not have morning breakfast. They did refer me to the bakery downtown which had awesome breakfasts as well as baked goods.
Location: It's off season, there wasn't much going on. A lot of restaurants were closed. It would good if you wanted a nice place for just you & your honey.
I was looking for a place to stay for business. It was a perfect choice and the price was right! Excellent room.

Pros: The spa was wonderful and the rooms were updated and clean! We loved that we could walk out of our door and right onto the beach! Beautiful!
Location: It is right in the heart of Frankfort and is on the beach of Lake Michigan, while also only being steps away from Crystal Lake! Wonderful location!
we had a wonderful experience at Harbor Lights Resort! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and the room was updated and comfortable. Even though we did not pay for a room with a view, we just had to step outside our door and we were on sand and looking at Lake Michigan! It was a beautiful place to stay and we plan to revisit!

The suite was spacious and clean. We had 2 tv's , a fireplace , porch , the was Kitchen nice too. The sandy beach of Lake Michigan Was really close and just beautiful. Breakwater with lighthouse on the end. The towering sand dunes just a short walk from the hotel. Frankfort has nice little shops , restaurants and café.

Within walking distance to the beach

Posted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: The best feature of Harbor Lights is its nearness to Lake Michigan.
Cons: The only improvement I could suggest would be that they institute a complimentary continental breakfast.
Location: There is so much to do in the Frankfort area. Hiking, biking, sailing, restaurants, scenic drives, lighthouses, etc. It's got something for everyone.
I really enjoyed my stay at Harbor Lights, despite the inclement weather. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, nicely decorated, well laid out, and comfortable. The best part is that every room is within a very short walking distance to a nice beach on Lake Michigan. The only downside is that they don't have a restaurant or even breakfast at the hotel. But with all the fantastic eateries in Frankfort, it's easy to overlook that.

Great stay!

Such a great hotel! Couldn't believe how perfect it's location was. Right on the beach with the light houses a piers to walk on. The room was great, pretty large and fairly furnished. It was a perk to have a fridge in the room! Staff was great and downtown Frankfort is a short walk away. We loved that it was such a close drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City to allow for more exploration!
