“Just what we hoped it would be.”

We found the location easy to find via public transportation from the airport and from the main shopping district. The staff was very eager to help in any way needed and eager to please. The breakfast buffett was wonderful. The rooms are very small, but comfortable and clean. We left early in the AM and came back close to bedtime; so the room size was fine for us. We will gladly stay there again.

“Great for the price”

I got a room at this hotel for two nights while visiting the Frankfurt Christmas Market, and it was well worth it. I arrived later at night, but check-in went smoothly. The room was not large, but was sufficient for me, with warm blankets and a comfortable bed. Everything was quite clean and appeared to be well cared for. The neighborhood around the hotel is nice and quite walkable, while the hotel is also next to the Zoo U-Bahn station, making it easy to get to the train station or other points of interest. If you are coming for business, I'm not sure I would recommend this hotel (at least based on my room), since, although there was a desk, there wasn't much room to set up a laptop or get out papers and work. For a weekend in Frankfurt on holiday though the hotel was ideal. A final note: if you don't speak German you should be fine, the hotel staff spoke fluent English.

“Good price - Good Hotel!”

Good Hotel - the price was right! Staff was very friendly and helpful, and our room (on the 3rd floor) was clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was also good-fresh fruit, assortment of breads, cereals, cheeses, meats, eggs and great coffee! Location is great, was near the zoo and the neighborhood was safe, and quiet at night. Great resturants in immediate area (we recommend Peter's Biergarten! just around the corner). Easy walking to local shopping, river-walk, and other historic sites. We enjoyed our stay, and would recommend this hotel. (If you have big bags - DO NOT take a room on the 5th floor (room number will start with "5" - elevator only goes to 4th floor and you climb stairs to the attic rooms which are VERY, VERY SMALL - my husband could not stand up straight in 80% of the room- we returned and stayed our last night in Frankfurt here and were given the attic room - not pleased about that as we had booked our room over a month in advance). Overall, we enjoyed our first stay here - and would still recommend this hotel.

“Would stay again”

This is a nice small hotel right across the street from the zoo and very convenient to the streetcar that will take you anywhere. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The rooms are small by American standards but then how much time do you spend in you hotel when you are on vacation? The breakfast is wonderful and is something I looked forward to every morning. The staff all speak english and they are more than helpful. I would stay here again.

“Right value for business travelers looking for cheap”

If you are a business traveler and don't need a 4 star +, then this is the hotel for you. Rooms are fine, bathroom is very clean and recently remodeled and breakfast is ample. Don't expect a comfortable bed. This time, I finally got to stay in one of the completely remodeled rooms - which was nicer than the others, except the carpet is the same as in the old rooms.

“OK.”

Our first room on arrival was extremely dirty. After complaining, we were given another room. Bathroom cleaning was fine, but room vacuuming was indifferent. Sheets were changed after one week during an extended stay. Daytime manager was not particularly friendly, but all other staff were very good and welcoming. Breakfast is normal continental fare, good but not exceptional. Location is fine if you know how to use public transport. U-Bahn, S-Bahn, and tram stations are within a block. Otherwise, hotel is a bit far from city center and the train station. There are four supermarkets (one Turkish) within easy walking distance. Wireless internet available but only works well in the dining room and lobby. Wifi did not work at all on the 4th floor.
