“Handy hotel near Frankfurt Hbf”
Quiet, clean, good breakfast, trendy-looking but friendly staff, very close to the train station (especially the side entrance along platform 24). Area around the train station isn't Frankfurt's most charming, but is convenient if you've got an early/late train. Free low-speed WiFi works fine for e-mail and light web surfing. Old-style door keys a bit of a nuisance.
“100% satisfied”
couldn't ask for a better hotel for the price, plenty of restaurants in the area, and a short walking distance from downtown and shopping areas
“AS USUAL----Goooood!!”
Whenever I go to Frankfurt, Bristol would be my priority #1. Good Location, Nice Staffs, Good breakfast and free internet (not that fast though).
“Needs to Try Harder”
The Bristol Hotel has tons of potential. It's located only two blocks from Frankfurt's main train station and very close to the city center. And it has kind of a cool pseudo-Asian design style going on. Unfortunately, the hotel is run down, which you can't tell from the pictures on Expedia. The carpets are dirty, the chairs in the waiting area are worn, and the walls in my room needed washing or repainting (or both). The bed and bathroom were very clean, though. The front desk staff were professional but not very warm or welcoming. In general, they seem to be coasting on their excellent location. It would be nice to see them take it up a notch, because this could be a little gem if they tried a bit harder. The free breakfast was very good.
“I like that hotel.”
Because breakfasts were very good, I loved them. The location was near the central station and it's good convenience to get sightseeing places.
“WARNING - no air conditioning or ventilation in room”
This hotel does not have any air conditioning for the guests. The rooms get very warm (especially the upper floors) and have limited window ventilation. If opened fully, there is about a 3 inch opening for air to circulate. When the window is open, there is lots of noise at night, being that this hotel is near a major train station. A big clue to the state of the room is that the hotel leaves a portable fan in each room. We stayed here because we were leaving the next day, but we didn't get any sleep! If you need a good night's sleep, this is not the place to stay! In fairness, breakfust buffet was good and the location is 2 minutes walking distance from the Frankfurt main train station. You also need to be careful if going out at night as this location is a bit seedy. Many other choices near this hotel.
“The worst hotel ever”
Please take my advise and don't stay there. No aircondition, mousquitos inside the room, small room, aragant staff, elevator not working, they forgot to give me the wakeup call...etc. I can go on and on...this hotel should classified as a youth hostel
“Good breakfast, wonderful stay”
We stayed from friday to sunday so the room rate was lower. Breakfast was very satisfying. We got room 602 which is on the top floor with a walk out rooftop patio which was nice and spacious. The decor was modern comfort. One negative feedback was that the shower water temperature was very hard to titrate. It was either very cold or goes straight to burning hot. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and it was conveniently located near the train station but not too close.
“Very much impressed”
Very nice place. Close to main station, friendly staffs, clean room, and most of all breakfast was super. I will go there again.
“Great Service”
Great hotel. Conveniently located to Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof. Front Desk was very helpful for early check-in. Breakfast was wonderful.
