Good Value, Good Location

I stayed here for 1 night and walked all over town from the hotel. Breakfast and internet were good free add-ons.

Clean and comfortable
Posted Jan 27, 2013
Cons: No air conditioning
Location: Close to the train station
Small room but very clean and comfortable in a good central location. The only negative was there was no air conditioning which meant leaving the window open on a noisy street.

The bar was smoky, and the drink prices were a shock when I got my bill.

Delivers on what it promises

Pros: good breakfast
Cons: no air con control in room
Not a lot of frills but room was clean, comfortable and covered the basics. Not possible to adjust temperature in room so I had to open the window for a while on a noisy street in winter to get the temperature right, but that was the only issue during my stay.

Old world elegance
Posted Jan 22, 2013
This is a hotel with character. I have become so accustomed to nice modern hotels that I had forgotten how charming a hotel of Tge ok'd school could become. Artistic touches everywhere, free winfi, a very bountiful but inexpensive breakfast--if you want a taste of the old Europe, before everything became homogenized, stay here.

Bristol Hotel Review
Posted Jan 22, 2013
Pros: Location, Location.
Cons: Room comfort, breakfast.
Location: Central to everything.
Small little hotel in a handy location. 2 minute walk to Frankfurt Main Train Station, 5 minutes or so to the exhibition centre and about 10 minutes to the city centre. Bathrooms are very compact and showers are even smaller. The room lacks comfortable pillows and blankets and as a result you may end up with a sore neck and a cold like I did. Choice of breakfast (Same everyday) was disappointing given the international mix of clients. Some days staff could not keep up and there was very little left on the buffet as a result. It's a pity as this little hotel can be a real gem with a little attention from the management.

Convenient business hotel
Posted Jan 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
I have stayed here before and so was happy to use again. Previously I was upgraded as I think the hotel was not very full. This time I was not as lucky! The room is still very comfortable and represents good value for money. The breakfast is also very good. My own 'niggle' this time was that I had pre-ordered a taxi through reception and despite sitting there for 10-15 mins they did not tell me that the driver had also was sitting in reception - they just hadn't bothered to annouce him.

Living in a box
Posted Jan 10, 2013
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Room
Location: By main rail station
When you book this hotel and take the single bed option beware they are very literal. This (Rm 519) was the smallest room i have ever slept in and paid for it. It was no more than a narrow corridor with a single bed tucked round the corner in the space that the bathroom took. There was no where to put a small suitcase except on the bed or on a chair. Breakfast OK but nothing else.

Staff nice, Hotel room not
Posted Jan 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
Every member of the hotel staff I encountered was nice and professional. The hotel was located close to the train station and convention center. The breakfast buffet was complete. However, the room was the smallest, darkest and uncomfortable room I've ever seen. My closet at home is bigger. Come to think of it my dorm room was twice as big. The pictures that the hotel shows needs to point this fact out.
