The hotel was a treasure to find! Clean, nice room with heated floors. The one downside was the t.v. Stations were limited. Few English speaking stations. Very close to the train station but without any noise. Convenient, just two stations away from the Frankfurt main train station. Will stay there again!

Room was clean and the breakfast was OK. However, the wifi was very slow, even late evening and difficult to get onto; and both mornings, there was no hot water for the shower. There was a slight smoky smell in the room and a strange smell in the bathroom. I've stayed in better, cheaper places in Offenbach.

I stayed for 2 nights, whilst working a few miles away, commuting by train. The room was clean and in good order, the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was quiet, although there were some late bars nearby, I had 2 good nights sleep. I can not comment on the breakfast, as I was working too early to try it.

It was okay; nothing to brag about. A bit harder to get to and find than I wanted it to be when I drove there via a car. It *is* near the rail station though.

No AC, fan available but not working, after 3 complaint they repaired on last day, poor ventilation . Lot of noise in night from neighborhood. Very less staff but except for 1 no one understand English. Not value for money, not at all.

The Hotel is small but pleasant
The single room I had was small but that is so in Germany and you pay single rate and it had all you could need for your comfort. It is in a commercial street and in short walking distance to the center, bus subway or even train. I can recommend it and I will stay again.

100 meters from the Bahnhof
Great place with great price vs other hotels in the Frankfurt area. Very convenient for travelers without a car as it is near the Bahnhof. Plus, great shopping is only 100 meters in the other direction, and the S Bahn is just beyond that. So, if you want to avoid the big city prices, not pay high taxi costs for transportation, then consider this Hotel. Plus, the staff of Oksana and others, are unprecedented. They are the nicest people ever. Happy Trails!

Small Room
The room was so small, the bed was up against the wall and I had about one foot (30 cm) on the other side. There was about 3 feet at the end.Bathroom was lovely, about the same size as the bedroom. Noisy area of town, even though they say sound proof rooms. Internet extra 7 Euros (24 hr)

The Hotel Kaiserhof was a clean, safe place to spend the night, but was nothing special. The TV had a very low volume, even when maxed out. The room was very hot and so it was difficult to get our child to sleep, but that is to be expected as it is Germany in late spring and A/C is not necessarily common. It is a short subway ride from Frankfurt City Center. The neighborhood in which the hotel is located is a bit rough around the edges, but seemed safe enough. The staff was helpful and friendly and the breakfast was very good in the morning. They do have parking just across the street for 8 euro, but there is a very narrow tunnel you have to drive through and it was difficult to get even a small car to the parking area. Definitely do not plan on using their parking if you drive a large vehicle. Overall, I would not stay there again, but it is ok if you just want a place to rest for the evening.

not the best of hotels
very tired hotel needs a good upgrade , bathroom had mould and smelt , room was very hot and had to open windows no fan or a/c , windows opened on to a bust street lots of traffic noise , but also hotel surrounded by bars and clubs which were playing loud music until after 3 am , staff friendly and helpful , breakfast was good but not worth 10 euros , I was on 2nd floor and the lift was broken which to be fair could happen to any hotel anywhere but there was only one lift and therefore lots of stairs to climb , also I was informed by locals that this was not the nicest of areas to stay in definetly not for famlies

There was something happening outside the hotel because there were four police cars when we arrived. Parking on the street is hard to find, the internet was out in the entire hotel, and the breakfast was, in my opinion, very overpriced. Otherwise, the room was clean and the staff helpful.

It wasn't so bad. Just old and run-down. For that kind of place, it shouldn't be so expensive. Room was clean, front desk people were nice. Its just old and needs to be massively renovated if you are gonna charge that much.

OK basic hotel
OK for the price they charged. Surrouinding neighborhood is a little dicey at night. Hotel locks doors from 11:30 pm to 6:30 am for safety of guests. They do give you a key to open street door in case you stay out late.

It was nice, except for two things--the floorboards creaked a lot, so not only did one of us wake up the other if we got up in the middle of the night, but I was always worried about waking up the folks below us as well. Also, the wireless internet was very sporadic and sometimes didn't work when we really needed it to. Overall not bad at all though--level of service was great, would possibly stay there again.

A very clean and friendly boutique style hotel. Though it's not within Frankfurt city centre, but not too bad to travel around by train. The only bad thing is the rate does not include breakfast nor wifi access.

Offenbach is not Frankfurt
I expected the hotel to be closer to Frankfurt. But it is actually about 7-8km away by car. Also, if you set your GPS to Kaiserstrasse in Frankfurt you will be in for a surprise (as I was :-) ), there is a Kaiserstrasse in Frankfurt and one in Offenbach too. The one in Offenbach is were you are supposed to go if you stay at this hotel. Anyway... Benefits: The hotel is ok, the rooms are clean, the staff were friendly and helpfull. No disturbance from neighbours etc. If you travel by a car they have a secure parking which they charge for. But still, it might be worth considering as parking in the street seemed like a hassle to me. If you go by car it is quick to drive to Frankfurt city centre, also there are lots of parking houses, so no problem. Drawbacks: The wireless Internet in my room did not work well at all, I told the receptionist about this when I checked out and she removed it from my bill, so that was a good sign of service mentality. If your german is not top notch, you might find it a bit boring that all channels on the TV are german ones. Anyway, I got to practice my german and watched Cosby dubbed to german hehe, not quite the same... All in all, the hotel is ok but if I go back I would like to stay IN Frankfurt, prefferably a bit closer to the city centre.

I'd Recommend It - Kind Of
When you book this hotel you can be secure in the knowledge you will get a clean room and the room will be larger than many other European hotel rooms of similar ratings. What you will not get is any semblance of "service" from the staff that would be considered normal in the U.S. The internet may, or may not be available. During my stay, the access code was changed, but the front desk did not have the new code so there was no service. And what you get from the front desk is a middle aged woman with a completely blank stare on her face, as if trying to comprehend why in the world anyone would want to be able to connect to the internet. I had friends staying at the same hotel while we were both attending the same trade show and we were going to try and connect. The front desk does not have an alphabetical listing of the guests staying at the hotel, so the front desk methodically went through each numerical room card looking for the guest. They found the name and gave me the phone code, but would not give me the room number. I tried to call the room but the phone would not take a message. So I didn't connect on Day 1. The next evening when I returned from the show I asked if there were any messages for me and the front desk said not so I went upstairs to my room. 30 minutes later, my friends came in and asked the front desk if I had checked in or not as they had not heard from me. The SAME person couldn't put 2 and 2 together and tell my friends I had been looking for them. We never did connect though we later found out I was in room 409 and they were in room 411. As I said, you will get a very clean and comfortably sized room. Just realize, that's all you booked and any semblance of guest service beyond that, simply does not appear to exist.

Nice hotel for the price
The hotel and room were a bit small but definitely great for the price. It was a quiet area and conveniently located. It was just 10 minutes (2 stops) from the Frankfurt Main Station by train. The staff was helpful and accommodating. The area where the hotel is located was very commercial with lots of little restaurants to choose from.
