Good hotel for CBDPosted Nov 1, 2013
Cons: A kettle in the room.
Location: Walk down to hautbahnhoff and take the subway two stops to Dom Romer where there is a really nice square with bars and restaurants.
Hotel was clean and comfortable and brilliantly placed for our requirements (running the marathon). Breakfast was good, although there appeared to be a bit of a shortage on tables so you had to get in quick. The rooms were nice and clean, although it would have been good to have had a kettle in the room. In addition, the shower facilitie were interesting - a glass wall rather than a curtain, so wasn't necessary ideal if you're sharing a room with someone you don't know very well. Luckily the bar facilities downstairs provide somewhere reasonably comfortable to sit if you need to vacate your room for a while.

Clean and modernPosted Oct 29, 2013
Lovely clean and modern hotel and room. The see through shower located in the room might put some people off but it didn't bother us it was different Very comfy bed and pillows and a fantastic breakfast provided in the hotel restaurant

Great hotel convenient to Train StationPosted Oct 11, 2013
Pros: We liked the location. We could walk from/to the Frankfurt Main Train Station.
Cons: The front desk could've explained that the electricity in the room does not work unless your room key is inserted into a "slot" in the wall.
We arrived in Germany for our first visit EVER. We expected a room the size of a postage stamp and were so pleased to find a comfortable sized room with a HUGE (by European standards) shower. The only thing small about this hotel was the elevator...wow! The room was quiet, we were able to find English on the TV, the bathroom was great, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was especially nice and with Expedia, it was included. The "normal" German breakfast of fresh breads, meats, fish and cheeses was available as a buffet, along with juice, coffee and water (both still and sparkling). Once you were seated, they would bring you eggs (fried or scrambled) and either bacon or sausage. PLENTY to eat and enjoy. The staff (especially the woman at the front desk) were very friendly and helpful once you engaged them in conversation. Don't be shy to be the first person to engage the staff in an English conversation. They brighten right up!!

Great location...food, metro, autobahn.Posted Sep 6, 2013
Pros: For such a small room, it was very well configured. It was even kind of cool how the shower was all the way see-through in the bedroom.
Cons: More internet!!!
Location: Decent location...a # of places to eat nearby & train station is a few blocks away, but you feel a little unsafe walking around. Where's the car lot?
It was definitely a very european experience staying at the Fleming. From the bed to the breakfast, it was a very nice stay. The only real downside was that they only give you 10 hours of internet access. Since I fell asleep with my laptop running, I had no internet access left by the morning. First world problems, I know. But it was just very inconvenient. The location was ideal for food and the train system, but the area it is in is a little shady. Especially when you're dragging a suitcase from the train station parking lot. Also, the hotel says it has a parking lot of its own, but where in the world is it actually located is a mystery to me. That's why I ended up parking at the train station, paying more euros, and having to lug my suitcase back to the hotel.

Good location, but the rest was not that greatPosted Sep 5, 2013
First of all, there is no bellboy in this hotel which makes you as a guest, carry your luggages to your room in a very small elevator. This is okay if I was alone and have one luggage to carry. However I was with my ill grandmother that brought a large luggage. The staff had no concern of my difficulties. Second, as said on the hotel details, there is wi-fi available, however the wi fi weren't that great. It keeps going on and off most of the time which was hard for me to do my work. Although the atmosphere of the hotel is good, the room was exceptional when you look at it with the price you paid and the room service was great. They have great food served for breakfast too. After arriving back to my country, i received a bill that charged me nearly $500. This was dissapointing because not only i have paid everything that i spend on before i checked out, they also charged my credit card without my consent. This is a violation to my trust on handing them my credit card details. Eventhough they have replaced me MOST of my money back, but it still troubles me knowing the fact that they made me pay for things that i did not spend. Not only I have to email them constantly, but they also did not give me any written responses of whats going on. It shows me that they have no remorse of what they have done and that is just plain dissapointing for me

UncomfortablePosted Jun 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
Most uncomfortable bed I have every (not) slept in-- brick hard (and I like a firm mattress), wimpy pillows, and the mattress is wrapped in a cheap plastic cover that makes noise when you turn over, and is stiflingly sweaty. Promised air conditioning did not work (or seem to make a difference), making for a very uncomfortable and sleepless night. Decor is a bit dated, level of cleanliness is 'adequate', and staff were 'efficient'. Not worth the price paid -- not really worth any price given how uncomfortable the night was.

Good location, decent room. AVOID restaurantPosted Jun 15, 2013
Pros: Location - 5 minutes from Hauptbanhhof
Cons: Room service
Overall it was a good hotel, great location in Messe, clean room with everything you need. Breakfast is decent but getting an omelette can sometimes be tricky depending how busy the staff are. AVOID the restaurant/room service, I had a very bad Schnitzel, worst in Germany I've had. Internet is free though and breakfast is included, the staff at reception are helpful and it's less than 5 minutes walk to Hauptbahnhof. I would book again, but only if there's a special deal on.
