“Just opposite the main raiway station in Frankfurt”

The Hamburger Hof Hotel is a small 3 star hotel. We stayed a night on arrival in Europe, and also on our departure. We were given early check-in, but on the sunny side of the hotel, which was uncomforably hot. On our return, our room faced the rail station, but with the air-con we weren't disturbed. This hotel has a great breakfast, and a very helpful and friendly staff. For a moderately priced dinner, I'd recommend a Greek restaurant 2 blocks from the hotel, in the opposite direction from the city centre.( in the direction of the rail tracks) There is an open square with other restaurants, as well as outdoor dining in Summer. There's also free internet + computer in the lobby. One disadvantage is the 10 minute walk to the city centre. Ask at reception for the best route as it's easy to become lost.

“Convenient Location”

For the traveler who needs a hotel near the Frankfurt train station, this one is ideal. Located right across the street on the north (quieter) side, it provides a clean, safe environment at a very reasonable price. Staff was friendy,helpful, and spoke excellent English. Also has an excellent free breakfast buffet.

Two stays here, the first room was the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in, smaller then our home closet. No water in Hotel first day due to reworking the 1st floor. Second room was reasonable size. Hotel was clean and adequate. Breakfast was minimal.

The hotel is clean and neat, convenient to the train station. The first room we had was the smallest hotel room I have seen, smaller than our closet at home, and this was for two, peolple with large suitcases. We returned a few days alter and I had requested a larger room, which was fine. Should check out Inter-city hotel next door or Steinberger two doors up. Our room was not ready when we arrived so we waited in order to feshen up. They did not tell us while we waited they were refurbishing the first floor and we had no water on the 6th floor. We took the train from Frankfurt to several Xmas markets and the location of this hotle worked very well for us.
