“good comfortable place to stay”

Went with my brother on a trip down memory lane. Last in Frankfurt 30 years ago and was surprised at the changes! A good clean hotel, just a few minutes walk away from the main train station, didn't hear one train from our room at all. Lots of places to eat, mostley fast food but there is a nice pizzeria nearby and a good chinese in the next street. Good location for sight seeing. Staff at hotel extremley helpful and polite. Would definately go back again. Not too sure if you have children as it is within 10 mins walk of the red light district.

“Overnight stay”

An amazing two-star hotel! Close to the train station and all downtown sightseeing attractions.The rooms are small but very clean and newly renovated. The full breakfast (included in the rate) was a delight. All this at a reasonable price for a city like Frankfurt. We will be staying there again, once the opportunity arrives.

“Great location!”

Friendly, efficient and helpful staff. Location can't be beat, just down the street from the railway station. The room we were in was very small, but OK if you're just planning on sleeping there - we were there for one overnight before catching a plane the next morning, and got a good night's rest. This is a budget hotel, but very good value.

“Good Value Hotel”

Tucked away beside the main train station, Hotel Columbus is ideally placed for rail travelers and those on low-budget business trips. The streets around the hotel are a strange mix of decent hotels and slightly seedy buildings, but you are only 5 minutes from the downtown area. The hotel occupies a corner site beside the tram tracks. It is quite small, but well-run. Some of the corridor carpets need upgrading, but apart from that, it was clean and tidy. The small rooms don't encourage long stays, but that is probably fine for most guests. There is a good wireless service (for a fee) and a free internet PC in reception.

“Friendly staff, tiny room”

I arrived at this hotel at 9:00 a.m., in desperate need of a shower after a long flight. The front desk clerk was extremely helpful and had the maid prepare a room so that I could check in early. He even offered me a drink while I waited in the lobby. The room was very small and smelled like an ashtray. I'm guessing the previous guest was a chain smoker, and the small room size didn't help to clear out the stench. It was also probably the only room left because of a trade show going on at the Messe. Other than that, there were no problems with this hotel, and the price was attractive (with breakfast included).

“JUST FOR FEW DAYS”

it's really a small hotel but people is friendly and helpfull,close to franckfurt main station , and one station far from the fair building ,take 10 minunets to get there from the hotel. unfortunately they gave to me a first floor smooking room ( i asked for non smoking ) so it was noissy. the price is nice
