Pros: Location - near airport.
Cons: Level of cleaniness.
Location: Okay for bus from airport to hotel. Nothing really to do nearby. Bottle of water 6 euros so take own drink with.
Room ok for one night, dirty glass and crumbs down back of sofa bed.

Staff need basic trainingPosted Jan 15, 2014
Upon arriving at the Airport, staff at the shuttle service misdirected me to an adjacent Mercure hotel. Upon discovering this to be the case, no apology was given by front desk staff who initially suggested that I resolve the problem by paying for a taxi to the correct hotel Fortunately, the surly driver deemed it to be something that he could squeeze into his busy schedule and decided to drop me off at the correct hotel. Upon arrival at the correct location, front desk staff showed no interest in my experience and simply blamed a driver. Subsequently witnessed equally sloppy client relations by this locations front desk staff. Given their proximity to Lufthansa training centre, maybe management can have a refresher course in basic manners and customer relations for staff. I won't "touch" this chain in the future.

Good for an overnighter near Frankfurt FlughafenPosted Jan 10, 2014
The hotel is about a 20 minute shuttle ride from the hotel. Shuttles run about twice an hour. The hotel is in an isolated area far from the Kelsterbach train station, but you can take the shuttle to the airport which has lot of eating opportunities and connection to the rail system leading into Frankfurt. Comfortable enough and not in the direct flight pattern of a very busy airport. Good value.

Close to airport.Posted Dec 11, 2013
Pros: Airport shuttle and buffet breakfast.
We stayed at the Mercure Hotel - Kelsterbach for one night. It is clean and comfortable. Front desk staff were informative and efficient. This hotel offers an airport shuttle that runs every half hour. Buffet breakfast (not included with our rate) was superb. Rooms were quiet and beds comfy. We would definitely stay here again.

comfortable airport hotelPosted Dec 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is a great place to stay when arriving or departing from Frankfurt Airport. There is a shuttle every half hour from and to the airport, but it is very difficult to find where the shuttle picks up passengers at the airport. It is at Door 1 on the Arrivals level of Terminal 1, but there are no signs pointing to hotel shuttles that I could see in the terminal.

No hot waterPosted Nov 1, 2013
Pros: locatoin. Restaurant staff is very friendly and helpful. Front desk is okay
Arrived after an overnight flight from US. No hot water for first 24 hours. Was told that I would get free breakfast for ONE night (should have been entire stay). Instead I receieved a bannana and apple in my room (apparently that is breakfast?). Checked out for return at 430 AM, didn't realize the mistake until I reviewed by bill at home.

Pros: Conveinent to the airport without a lot of plane noise...
Cons: Ability to use the A/C for a mild fall... more German dishes on the menu...
Location: There were no things to do nearby without transportation...
Our stay was in late October and the weather was mild so unfortunately the A/C was off and the room got very warm and uncomfortable even with the window open... other than that, our 2 day stay was pleasant as we went into Frankfurt both days to tour the "old town"... we wished the shuttle would be able to stop at terminal 2 as it is a long trek with luggage thru terminal 1 and then up to the Sky Tram trip to terminal 2
