I thought the staff were very nice and helpful. Very noisy in terms of trains, traffic and people. My room was at the front of the hotel and so it was probably noisier than room at the back.

The hotel itself was nice, but could use updating. Clean, functional, great location for travel. The breakfast was pretty good too. Room was cold when we first checked in - we turned up the heaters and closed the windows and it still took about 24 hrs before it was comfortably warm.

A hotel near Frankfort central train station
Very convenient location for the city tour and the room was very spacious. It was abot too cold for our family but considering other Europeans hotels we have stayed, it was very cozy and warm.

convenient to train station but not so comfortable
Room OK but cold and not well furnished. Bathroom too small, Breakfast OK but did not like automated coffee machine and lines waiting for it. Not good coffee. Room too cold in winter season, needed extra heater and blankets. Poor pillows.

Lovely hotel, right beside the train station and within walking distance of all tourist attractions. Glass of champagne on arrival. There is tea/coffee & cake in the lobby each day from 11-6. Rooms are spacious with a nice comfortable bed and a free minibar. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Very convenient, just across the main train station. The walk to downtown is about 20 minutes. Breakfast is buffet style: includes breads, cold ham, eggs, yogurt, coffee, juice. Bed is confortable. Room is clean and good size. The only negative is that the doors are jammed and you have to pull hard to open and push hard to close, making a lot of noise specially. You can hear people walking by the hall.

I liked that they welcomed you with a glass of champagne. Plus the room had a free beer, juice in the mini bar. The room was small, but the bathroom ok, the bed was comfortable. The internet was fast,and connected easy. They have a bar and restaurant in the lobby. But there were many good restaurants about 4 blocks away.

The hotel is neat and inviting. The room was small and not too comfortable. There are not enough pillows. The free minibar is a plus. The area of the hotel is both TERRIBLE and FANTASTIC. It is right across the street from the main station, so it's great to travel everywhere from the hotel. Its accessibility is great. However, the area is littered with drunks and homeless people sleeping in the streets. The streets are extremely dirty and not safe.

Champagne greeting!
We were greeted by the front desk with champagne after checking in. Our room was decent and clean with a few free beverages in the fridge. The only drawback was no air conditioning. We did okay however by putting the fan in front of the window and sucking the air in. The only drawback to this is the city noise, but the fan drone sort of masked it. I live in a city so I’m not bothered so much by city noise, but if you are, I’d request a room not facing the train station. Also, the window/door would not be safe for a child. We had breakfast in the morning and there was a nice selection.

The hotel Monopol in Frankfurt was very nice, excellent rooms, good breakfast, welcoming reception, directly next to the railway station, but still the rooms were quiet. The lobby and dining room look nice, historic, but the rooms are modern. We will come again when we next travel through Frankfurt.

The staff at this hotel was exceptional. We stayed at this hotel at the beginning and end of our trip. Natalie was always helpful and accommodating. It was convenient to be across from the train station with dozens of eating venues for our picky family of 13. I would definitely stay here again- great value for a lovely hotel!

The hotel had old world charm. Very spacious lobby area and rooms. Staff was friendly. We were greeted with a complementary glass of champagne on check-in. Complementary breakfast was excellent. Rooms lacked AC and was somewhat hot in mid-June. Fan helped a bit.
