“Not the best surroundings but very good value for money”

The hotel is located in a not very nice area as there are a series of nightclubs nearby and having a stroll at nigth is not what I would call an atractive prospect. Apart from that, the staff is very helpful and friendly and is within walking distance of the historical center of the city. The breakfast buffet is bound to tempt you to eat more than you should. Definately good value for money.

Across the street from railroad station to anywhere in Europe and/or S-Bahn to airport. Hotel has a lot of competition in area, and obviously, has seen better days, but like a grand old lady, is holding up very well. However, although the rooms are quite spacious by European standards, four stars may be pushing it. Large bathroom was updated modern, beds perfect, and everything else worked. TV in our room was small, not flat screen, perhaps will be replaced next visit. Staff singularly wonderful on all counts. Will certainly come back.

Everything was awesome! - Clean room w/ great furniture and appliances (e.g. flat screen TV) - Nice front desk staff - Free internet at lobby I traveled across France, Belgium, Italy, Holland and Germany. This is the cheapest hotel I've stayed in so far yet the best in all perspectives!

“Frankfurt Go To Hotel”

This was our second stay at National Hotel. The service is good and the rooms clean and cosy. We love the breakfast room and its staff.

“Great location, big bathroom, great breakfast”

I stayed here for about 8 hours because of a forced layover. Service was excellent, the minibar was free, the bathroom was unusually large, everything was clean, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing. Very close to the Frankfurt central train station, about 2 minutes walking.

Very clean and tidy. The hotel looked as if it had been recently redecorated. good service - I needed to borrow an Ironing board which was brought to me room within minutes of asking. The location is 5 minutes walk from Frankfurt's main train and underground station.

“Good Stopover Choice”

Rather than a more expensive airport hotel, the National proved to be excellent value in a downtown location across from the railway station (no noise). The rooms, while somewhat dated, are larger than the European norm. Our upgrade to a three-bed room was huge. An excellent breakfast is served in the hotel dining room but no other meals are available. There are restaurants nearby and the large downtown shopping area is a 15 minute walk. front desk staff were helpful and courteous.

“Excellent hotel, excellent location for the busy traveller”

Clean, comfortable, well-maintained hotel, with very helpful staff. Right across the street from the main train station (great if you do not have much time), close to the river and a short walk to the historic center.

“Huge Bathroom and Convenient Location for the Right Price!”

This hotel was actually a nice surprise. It is just across the street from the main train station and within easy walking distance of anything you might want to see in Frankfurt. There is internet access in the lobby. It is really nothing too fancy, but the room I stayed in was large and the bathroom was huge on European standards! I expected far less for the price! The hotel staff also told me I could use the refreshment bar for free, which was a nice bonus! I would def stay here again and recommend it to anyone.
