Was travelling by car when I stayed here, and the parking outside the hotel was free, which is a huge win for the hotel! Other than that the room was nice and comfortable. Exactly what I expected from any Novotel I have ever stayed in.

I have been traveling for business for over 35 years, which was one of the worst experiences I have had in any hotel. I made a reservation specifically for this hotel in September for its walkable location. They refused to give me a room even though they said I had a confirmed reservation. As I watched the person next on line get a room. They then told me they could get me a room three minutes walking distance away. If Usain Bolt were sprinting in his prime for the whole three minutes, he would have another ten minutes to go. According to them, the hotel was equal to their hotel, except it wasn't. No room service, laundry service, or maid service. I spent an extra 50 Euros a day and an additional 40 minutes commuting. Of course, the hotel would not compensate me for my extra cost, extra time, inconvenience, or the lack of services they guaranteed me when they accepted my reservation. If I took care of my customers like this I would be out of business at least they are ten minute walk from Hall 8 of the Frankfurt Fait so at least their location will keep them going.

Hello Robert, I am very sorry to hear that something went wrong during your stay with us. Unfortunately, there are situations that lead to things not working out the way we would like them to. In rare cases, technical problems can make it necessary to move guests to another hotel. In your case, it was a system error in the booking systems. This is not what our guests can normally expect from us. I also understand the annoyance at such a last minute change of plans and your anger. In your case, we have changed your booking to the Adagio Apart Hotel. This offers the same basic standard as our hotel and is about 750 meters and 10 minutes walk away (2 minutes by car). In direct comparison, the modern loft rooms of the Adagio are perceived as higher quality by most travelers. It is located directly opposite the main entrance to the trade fair, which is why we have selected it as the best possible alternative for you based on your expected stay at the trade fair. We took your luggage to the other hotel and also offered you a cab transfer, but you did not take advantage of this. It would have been possible for you to return to our hotel after the first night, but we did not offer this initially due to the additional inconvenience for you. After you contacted us again on the 3rd day of your stay and complained about the circumstances of your accommodation, we offered you a return to our hotel, which you declined. Daily room cleaning is also possible at the Adagio, but may have to be arranged with reception. Our hotel's laundry service is only available from Monday to Friday. Otherwise we would have offered you this service in the Adagio as well. You should not have incurred any additional costs at the hotel itself. The Adagio accepted the booking exactly as we received it.I can only express my regret once again about this incident.We will do everything in the future to avoid further system errors of this kind. the Novotel hotel staff were very helpful and rooms were kept very clean ,new bedding every couple of nights . my dislikes were no ceramic cups provided with your kettle and hot drinks ,only cardboard beakers ,which were not very professional . also the morning breakfast was a little too expensive for what was being served and the plates provided were very small ,so could hardly fit any food on the plate ,so it put myself off going back on additional mornings which was a inconvenience to my stay at the hotel ,meaning i had to eat out for breakfast .

Good hotel. Outside of city center
The hotel is not centraly located. It is about 3.2 km from city center. The hotel itself is clean and nice but it lioks a littele outdated. Breakfast is good.

Bed wasn’t comfortable at all, every time I opened the bathroom sink tap, smell of sewage from sink was disgusting, TV from 100 years ago and nothing to watch! Gym was closed, no sauna, nothing Overall I didn’t enjoy my time on this hotel at all and won’t stay there again

Booked Novotel, but was relocated to their sister hotel, Mercure due to Corona closures. It was not a fair replacement....Mercure had a lot if issues (room wasn't the same, smelled like a smoker's room when AC was on, rooms were too hot and no privacy in the bathroom)

Good option
To us has been fairly priced and well equipped. For the pretentious ones, including myself, it doesn’t look like a 4 stars hotel, but will do just enough to satisfy a keen eye. Not sure how it works on long stays, however on a short one, it’s perfect.

The hotel is very family friend. There is a small area for kids to play in the lobby and two computers to be used. However, the room is very small. If you are in two people the room size is just perfect. However, three or four people in one room is very tight. The sofa bed is uncomfortable, ok for one or two nights. We didn’t feel safe to walk to the train station. In the first day We saw two guys fighting and we were very worried since we were with children. Use taxi or Uber during the night. There is nothing close to the hotel rather than train station 500meters. But the hotel is a fare price.

Myself, my husband and 23 year old son were staying for four nights. We had a room with two single beds, which were too soft and spongey, and a small fold up bed, which I slept on as my husband and son are tall. When I checked the booking details I realised we were supposed to have a double sofa bed. As we were a couple of days into the stay at that point, I didn’t bother complaining. The room was cleaned three out of the four days. One major annoyance was that the cups we used in the room were not washed when the room was cleaned. Never come across this before. Our room faced onto a four track railway line which was a bit noisy. On the plus side we were close to the station! The hotel was packed with families due to an offer for kids under 12 staying free, so breakfast time was hectic although the breakfast staff managed the flow very well. Overall, the location was ok, but I don’t think we would stay there again.

The hotel is walking subway which helped get around locally. We also rented a car. Our itinerary said they provided free internet and parking. Parking was not free and internet access was open which is not a safe way to navigate the web. A/C didn't seem to work - beds were comfy.

I stayed at this hotel sometimes with business purposes. It was all good. And this time, I was staying with my family on sightseeing. At breakfast, people working at cafe was so nice and kind to us because they prepared for aluminium sheet in order to bring some breads to our room for our sleeping kids. We were so happy about that. The hotel is near metro station. Is clean and the room was very clean. I did not like the way receptionist talked to me. The receptionist must be polite and smiling. If the clients do not know to speak German they have to speak to them in English. If you are working in hotels you have to accept the fact that your clients DO NOT SPEAK GERMAN . They are foreigners.

Easy access to town centre, Tram run every 10 minutes and 6-7 stops to town centre. The room was okay but the facilities appeared to be at least 10-15 years old. The weather was very hot and the aircon was very good which meant the stay was pleasant. There is a railway line but did not disturb us at night. The gym room had two equipments only. Would go back.

It was somehow an ok experience. The first room they gave us was not clean. The toilet was smelling. We had to ask for a new room. Fortunately, they gave us another room. The reception was very unfriendly to us. We had been to several 4-5 star hotels before over last ten years. We never encountered such cold people working in the hotel front-desk.
