“Not Impressed”
It's not a 4 star - it's not a 3 star. The room interior is old and the room service did not care to fill up the toilet paper
“Not a 4 star hotel”
We bought this via expedia unpublished rates which promised that it would be a 4 stars hotels. Our room qualified for a 2 star hotel. We are quite disappointed with expedia.
“Good hotel, neighborhood is very "eclectic"”
Nice hotel and staff, I was upgraded to business status upon checkin. Room was new and well appointed. Didn't try the breakfast. I would go again.
“NOT A GREAT HOTEL AT ALL”
ROOM VERY VERY SMALL MAKE SURE U REQUEST A KING OR QUEEN ALSO THE SITE STATED CLOSE TO THE AIRPORT. VERY UN-TRUE. NOT LUXURY AT ALL. YOU CAN GET VERY CLOSE TO THE AIRPORT FOR LESS AND BETTER HOTEL. NO POOL
“Avoid this hotel if at all possible”
This might possibly be one of the worst hotels from a major chain I have ever stayed in. It is promoted as a four star hotel and was anything but. Upon checking in I was told that the two rooms I had booked were singles although my reservation through Expedia listed them as doubles and would not be big enough for family of four. We were then switched to "larger double rooms" on the top floor. What she didn't mention was that they were actually in the attic! To get to the rooms one had to first take a terrifying elevator ride and then walk up an additional flight of stairs. Now here's the kicker...no airconditioning. Room was boiling as it was a hot day in Frankfurt and windows had obviously just been opened. All that was there was a little fan to try to push air around. And this is a 4-star hotel? When I went downstairs to ask to change back to our other rooms and we'd make it work I got 'sorry we gave those away already and there's no AC in them either, besides you have a 'air distributor (fan??) In the end we had to take the fans from both rooms, put them into what we judged to be the cooler of the two and all sleep in the same room anyway. Only redeeming element of whole place was a small but decent breakfast spread in the morning. If you can avoid staying here, absolutely do. I also don't think I will use Expedia's deal finder anymore either.
“Great Location”
There was a lot to do around the hotel. I just stayed the night and did some sight seeing and it was great. The room Was smaller than I'd expected but German hotels are different than american and a single room will be just that I guess. Enough for one person, especially the bed, it was smaller than a twin so if you're a larger person or require more room I wouldn't recommend it but I'm small so it worked out great for me to sleep and shower.
“Last option”
Expensive with very good location, medium srvice and really bad rooms.
“Good Deals Are a Little Less Difficult to Find ...”
The room was small, but I expected it to be for the price. The location was wonderful; just an easy walk to the Train Station. There were all types of local cafe's and eating hot spots directly outside of the hotel.
“Never again!!!”
It was below Ramada standard. Booked. Double room and received a single. It looked like a terribly remodeled closet. Plus, it's in the Red Light district. Probably the worst room I ever stayed in and I travel a lot all over the world.
“OK for a short stay”
It was OK in general but could be much better. We had 2 adults and 1 child (13 yrs old) in our party and they did not provide with an additional bed. The receptionist did not bother to warn us our room was in building #2, so we wasted some time wondering inside building #1. Their bathroom was rather big but the shower was so small I could barely bend to wash my feet. Overall the hotel could benefit from some major renovation.
