“A fine, budget-minded hotel”
A very pleasant experience. It started when I stopped in to leave my luggage at 9AM, 6 hours before the stated check-in time. The friendly desk clerk took the bags and also arranged for me to get my room at 11 AM, four hours early. After a long and crowded red-eye flight from New York, I very much appreciated the gesture. The room was cozy (i.e. small), but efficiently laid out; it did not feel tight. All the necessary amenities were stocked. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and quiet. The (included) breakfast was tasty and included some hot foods, even made to order omelettes! But the smallish dining room got crowded very quickly. The location is very good: a short walk to the Hauptbahnhof in one direction, another short hike to the European Central Bank in the other, although those having business at the Euro Bank will probably not seek a Budget Hotel! Although close to the train station, it's not quite in the reddest section of the red-light district, as many other hotels of its class are. All in all, a good choice for those looking for a quiet, clean moderately-priced hotel with a good location in central Frankfurt.
