“Yeah pretty good”

Great location - 5 minute walk from central station and central station is only 10-15 minutes (or 3 stops fromt the airport). 10 minute walk to river. 15 minute walk to old town pubs, restaurants, shops, etc. GREAT breakfast! Free internet PC in reception is a nice touch also. Room - could of done with a tidy up. 2 dents in walls, broken toilet and a bit of mould in the bathroom grout. Also, a clean should be done under the beds...not very pleasant (we had to move the twin beds, hence we weren't that impressed as it looks like they've never cleaned underneath). All-in-all: Good. Very friendly helpful staff.

“OK for a short stay”

It was OK in general but could be much better. We had 2 adults and 1 child (13 yrs old) in our party and they did not provide with an additional bed. The receptionist did not bother to warn us our room was in building #2, so we wasted some time wondering inside building #1. Their bathroom was rather big but the shower was so small I could barely bend to wash my feet. Overall the hotel could benefit from some major renovation.

“Convenient location, very tiny rooms”

This is hotel is centrally located, walking distance from shopping, restaurants, transportation, and the red light district. The room and the hotel was clean, and the staff was very polite, (which is typical of German hotels). On the down side, the room that I had was extremely tiny, there was no space even to open the luggage. The bed was very small. Overall it was good value for the price.

“Convenient”

The hotel is on the edge of the red light district. Unless you head that way, though, you probably wouldn't notice. There are some good bars close by, the "Australian" bar round the corner (turn left, one block down - Kakatu), is good and very reasonably priced compared to other places. The hotel is a little dated now, could do with an update. Our bathroom certainly needed updating. We also had to ask reception where the bar was, as there's supposed to be one, but we couldn't find it. We were told to wait in the business centre (room at the back with a couple of computers) and someone would come to us. We ordered our drinks and they were brought to us in the business centre!! The bar apparently doesn't open until the evening and is situated in the adjoining restaurant. Room service wasn't the best if I'm honest, no cutlery for the mixed grill and the pepperoni pizza we ordered came as a spinich and pepper one!! The staff, however were very friendly, gave us any information we asked for and the room was kept pretty clean.

“Not a 4 star hotel”

We bought this via expedia unpublished rates which promised that it would be a 4 stars hotels. Our room qualified for a 2 star hotel. We are quite disappointed with expedia.

“Less than a 4 Star hotel”

this is not a 4 star hotel. Rooms are very small, dark, and the services are poor and more like a 3 star hotel. Breakfast is in a small lebaneese restaurant nearby. The airconditioned sistem was noisy, allmost impossible to sleep with it on. And this was in a superior room!

“Okay but not great”

The room had an odor. The carpet needed cleaning. The location was okay as it was close to the train station, tram and subway.

“Not Impressed”

It's not a 4 star - it's not a 3 star. The room interior is old and the room service did not care to fill up the toilet paper

“Not impressed with hotel outlay and sheets quality”

Hotel is probably made of two different hotels. To reach the second elevator one needs to go through Lebanese restaurant. Sheets were not cotton, but had some artificial material so it was so hot to sleep on them in the middle of winter. Inside rooms are noisy in the morning, because of the restaurant located in the hotel. Altogether, this hotel does not deserve 4 stars, but 2.5.

“Poor Hotel”

Main problem was the smell of food from outside. There was no Air Con so had to have the window open which added to the bad smell. Room was also very hot, so again had to leave window open. External service steps adjacent to my room, so someone could easily have climbed into the room especially as the window was open! Toilet didnt flush so had to pour water down using the bin. My room was also right next to the lift door, so noisy throughout the night. Not happy.
