“Excellent choice of hotel.”
The hotel is clean and well maintained. The rooms were lovely and comfortable, with a little balcony you can sit on in good weather. It's location is fabulous. Two minutes walk from the U-bahn and a cash machine; about a 10 minute walk to the Zeil (main shopping street): about a 10 minute walk from a good supermarket (REWE) on Grunebergweg.
The only down side is that while the apartment has a kitchen, it lacks things such as chopping boards and decent kitchen knives, although it does have general cutlery. It also lacked full-size dinner plates. The fridge is great for buying local food in places like the Kleinmarkthalle, and it has an icebox too.
The breakfast buffet is a good mix of cereals, salads, fruit, meats, yoghurts, and breads, with a choice of juices, teas, and coffee. There are also scrambled egg, sausage, and bacon as hot options.
We will be going back to Frankfurt, and Hotel Falk will be my first choice when booking a hotel.
