Clean hotel, convenient location.Posted Nov 18, 2013
Cons: Not sure where the smoking rooms were located, but once we stepped outside our room on the first floor, the cigarette smell was overwhelming.
Upon our arrival in Frankfurt by train, the hotel was easy to find, just a quick walk from the station. The hotel was clean, modern and very comfortable rooms. Love the décor in the rooms, looks like Pottery Barn. The staff were extremely helpful in answering our questions about the city, made excellent restaurant recommendations and gave accurate directions on how to get to the airport from the train station.

Very good locationPosted Oct 21, 2013
Pros: Location, location, location
Cons: Be nice, friendly for one of reception lady
Location: only 5 minutes by walking from Frankfurt main station, and 15 minutes by walking to shopping street. Walking is the best way to see the small city.
Good thing ---Very good location-only 5 minutes by walking from Frankfurt main station. All the staff in canteen are so nice and friendly. Bad thing --- one of reception lady is not nice. They moved my luggage to another room during day time and not informed me. I surprised when I was back in the evening. I asked the reception lady why, she told me that I didn't know, please ask my colleague tomorrow morning:-( Another reception lady is nice and friendly.

Good locationPosted Oct 20, 2013
Cons: Larger shower cubicles.
Location: Heaps of restaurants, shops, and close to the river
Clean, easy to find, walking distance to railway station, river and numerous restaurants. A slightly larger than average person does not fit easily into the shower cubicle. One of the staff members on the front desk seemed more interested in playing computer games than helping guests and had very little knowledge of the area around the hotel.

Decent hotel close to train stationPosted Oct 12, 2013
Pros: Most things - quiet room, good breakfast, good location
Cons: Fix the shower equipment, free wi-fi
Hotel is recently renovated, most things work well but not 100%. Decent value for the price, good breakfast, great location close to main train station and walking distance to old town and shopping if you are a walker. Rooms on the back side are quiet. The area of town can get a little gritty late at night, so if reality is not your cup of tea pay more for a sanitized experience elsewhere. For North Americans there is a Starbucks 1 block towards the train station.

Great central location in FrankfurtPosted Sep 28, 2013
Great location in Frankfurt. Two blocks from the main train station and walking distance to the Hauptwache, Zeil, Roemer and the Main river promenades. We were attending the Auto Show at the fair grounds - which took less than 15 minutes to reach on foot. The room was immaculate, as was the entire hotel. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Only concern is street noise at night, with a number of bars close by - you get to hear loud and boisterous bar patrons on their way home.

Convenience for the end of a holidayPosted Sep 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the train station primarily, but also because I would be able to walk from here to the Altstadt (15 mins) and the river. The images on-line helped me to decide that this would be a clean, safe and secure one-night-stay for a solo woman traveller. The hotel's location is about 300m out the front door of the Hauptbahnhof and straight ahead. Very straight forward, especially when needing the train to FRA airport early the next morning. I had a single room which was very small, not really a problem, except that the bed was set in a cubby of three walls so I kicked one wall and hit my arm a couple of times on another wall during the night. Take some earplugs if you are a light sleeper. The DU/WC was plenty big enough. The neighbourhood is not the best, but nothing to be too concerned over. Somewhat like Gastown in Vancouver. Breakfast (part of my price) was very nice, ample and delicious. Excellent Thai restaurant for dinner, just around the corner.

Victoria is a modern hotel about 5 minutes' walk from the train station. The neighborhood is rough but the hotel is spotless. Staff was friendly and services were good. My only complaint is that you need to pay for wifi in your room. (You can use the lobby computer for free, though.)
