My room was filthy, after a 12 hour drive I was too tired to move all my stuff I had brought in so I actually went to the front desk and got cleaning supplies. Woke up in the morning and found a cockroach!! I have not issue with dated rooms, especially those that allow dogs, but it needs to be clean.

Only issue was that there is some type of dispute between property and Expedia. Had to pay extra for early check in so be prepared for that.

The property wasn’t too clean. The office staff wasn’t too friendly at all. There was no mention that the pool wasn’t open which was a complete let down! Had I known the pool wasn’t opened I would of selected a different property! This property was probably worst than Motel 6. The door locked like someone tried to back in a 1000 times I didn’t even feel safe with the safety lock on. I probably would never stay at this property again when I visit my family in that area again!

A picture is worth a thousand words, so if I could attach them I would! The old, exposed ceiling light in the bathroom, filthy old chairs, dingy walls with abandoned hardware dotting the surface, rust, and wait for it....... bed bug bites! I reported it to the receptionist and even lifted my top to SHOW her and when she called her manager nothing was done except an irate housekeeping person going to my room tossing the sheets on the floor and coming back saying there were no bugs.... and the last person didn’t report a problem! I was treated as if I was making it up! Not even an apology..... and no black light to actually assess the bedding! I have researched bed bug bites vs flea bites (dogs are allowed) and chigger bites — and these itchy red lesions fit all the criteria and appearance of bed bug bites. Further, the nymphs cannot be seen with the naked eye!! Do what you want... but I tried to tell you!

overall, it's an okay hotel. Not the most comfortable, but better than other options. It is showing its age, and with exterior doors, I didn't feel 100% safe. But for a night on the road, it was okay. Probably won't stay again though.

Mold in Bathrooms
After a long drive we both just needed to sleep, (room 233) A couple of hours into sleeping my fiancé began coughing, she is very allergic to mold. I looked around the room carpets where damp and the bathroom had mold on the ceiling. Shame for what we paid could have had that standard in a much cheaper hotel. However the area is conveniently located and plenty of places to eat.

Group of girls outside our room woke us up and kept us awake for hours, took 2 calls to front desk to get them to move along. Very frustrating as we had a long drive ahead of us.

Great stay for price and location
We stayed in the suites in the annex. It was very nice, quiet and the beds were comfortable. I was pleased with the cleanliness of the room and the size of the space for the price. Thankfully the AC worked beautifully. Overall it was a nice stay especially for the price. Definitely THE best option if you are staying in Franklin overnight.

They were accommodating. We asked for adjoining rooms and that's what we got. The breakfast area was way too small for the number of guests and they only had one staff person attending. We finally had to give up and go out to a local restaurant for breakfast. The rooms need updating, but were overall clean and comfortable.

Everything was much nicer than I expected according to the reviews. I have no complaints and will stay there again! Everything was clean, bed and pillows comfortable, pool clean (a little cold but what do you expect in May), breakfast good, service good, staff friendly.

The Best Hotel in Town
The room was very comfortable and warm. Although the walls are a bit thin (you can hear toilets flushing around you), the room offered everything I needed. Parking was great, the staff at the desk and breakfast bar were wonderful.

Just OK, but hardly worth the price.
This place was OK. My complaint is only as follows: I was in a small town on a non-busy weekend in off season. For what I paid ($90+ including tax), I typically get something reasonably nice. Instead I got about equivalent to motel 8. Nothing wrong, just significantly off on price.

We checked in late at night so the window check-in was a little odd, but the rooms were nice and clean, plenty of lights, newer TV, hot shower, plenty of pillows, and no smoking smell. This is everything I expect for a room in this price range. I would stay here again.

We have always had a decent stay at your hotel. But this time the room wasn't as clean as it had been in the past. Our check-in was late but the quality of the room was somewhat disappointing. It smelled musty and old. It might have been coming from AC unit but some of the chairs had stains and there was hair on the bathroom floor from the last guest. I would stay again but I refer to stay on the first level. I stayed in Feb and my room was very nice and clean. I'm sure the hotel was booked but a little more detail to the cleaning would satisfy your repeat guests.

Bed was very comfortable. Motel was in process of being remodeled but over all was clean and neat. Bathroom need more remodeling. Toilets to short and overall condition old. Room should have been aired out more as there was a chemical smell in the room.

Cars parked by first floor rooms, people coming and going through the night, smoking outside by the door so the occupant still smells it, loud HVAC. adds up to a terrible stay. Clerk would not put me in a second story room.
