“We Stayed out of Curiosity!”

Given some testy reviews we decided to stay out of curiosity AND because we got a great deal on Expedia. In short while the motel is old our room was very clean and the service we received from the mid aged couple was businesslike and good. Bed was comfy (and we are fussy). Would we stay there again? If the deal was the same we certainly would. I can however understand why some people may have written damming reviews. So I offer some unsolicited advice to management in the spirit that it will hopefully turn around negative WOM. 1. You have to look professional. Dress up smartly and improve your grooming. 2. Smiles are free. Smile at everyone including the irritating people. 3. Try to say yes (like you did for us) whenever possible. 4. Smokers with hacking coughs don’t create a good first impression behind the counter at reception. RECOMMENDATION. If you can get a good deal give it a try and see if they have acted on any of the above suggestions.
