Northwest of Winter Park, a popular ski resort, Fraser has benefitted from its popular, nearby neighbor, with new condominiums and other real estate projects. AMTRAKs California Zephyr line (Chicago-San Francisco) services Fraser daily. A somewhat controversial claim to fame of Frasers is that it just like International Falls, Minnesota calls itself the icebox of the nation.
