The internet said that the price was $ 18.00 per night. The lady laughed at me. Bait and switch maybe.

Dear Guest, After search the main booking hotels booking sites were were unable to find any sites on the internet that advertises us at such an extremely low rate. Our Econo Lodge has never advertised such a rate. I am sorry for the confusion and apologise for our check-in clerk laughing at your request. Please accept our sincerest of apologies. Sincerely, Buelah Bell Guest Relations

Easy to find, convenient, right off the interstat

Pros: Location
Arrived at the hotel, checked in with a pleasant staff member. Upon finding our room,we were immediately skeptical about parking our vehicle due to the fact that there were men impaired and loitering and loud in our spot and on the stoop in front of our room. After some consideration we decided to return the key and end our stay. We did not feel comfortable there.

Don't bother staying

Posted Oct 7, 2014
Pros: not much
Cons: Oh god, where do i start.
Location: Mall, restaurants, shops, city, all nearby.
Awful hotel. Next to highway(noisy). Heavy grease or oil smell(car dealers and industrial sites nearby). Room could use a MAJOR makeover!!!! Most room doors, that I saw had hole's, were broken, kicked in, or just didn't shut all the way. Staff that I met were very nice and friendly. This is the only thing this place has going for it. Had OK continental breakfast.

We stayed here coming home from va beach. The room was big, clean and cool. Checkin and checkout was easy. Had an english muffin at the continental breakfast the next morning and headed out. I will definitely pick this hotel again. Oh, and it was cheap $ !!

Pros: Location and price
Cons: Probably it is a GPS problem and not the motel's problem, but their street showed up on my GPS across a major highway from where it actually was.
Location: Visit Camp David, and ask to see where the 1978 Peace Accord between Israel and Egypt was signed. Or visit Cunningham Falls, and go skinny dipping!
Having read online that the EconoLodge had problems including uncaring staff, but needing that particular location, I booked it. and when I arrived, I found caring staff, very friendly and helpful, and a well-designed room that was completely acceptable in all respects. The only slightly disappointing thing in the room was that the shower curtain was hung too far into the shower space, making it noticeably smaller than most motel shower areas. All in all, a worthwhile lodging.

Not a good 1st Choice

Posted Jul 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
The room was dirty and not well maintained. The night we arrived it sounded like a rifle range was in full swing right next to us. I would look elsewhere for accommodations if at all possible before choosing this hotel again!

Not too far from linganore wine festival

Posted Jul 22, 2014
I chose this hotel mainly for price and location. I was going to a reggae wine festival at linganore and did not want to drive back in forth to Baltimore. The following day I went to six flags and it only took an hour from this location. The bed was spacious but the bathroom was not. I was expecting a flat screen instead of the dinosaur television that was in the room. Climate control was reasonable. All in all you get what you pay for.
