The grounds were amazing!!! So relaxing. The room was spacious. Perfect for a girls weekend. Location was great for some day trips to Enchanted Rock and Wimberly. Shopping and food so close by. Definitely going back soon.

A totally relaxing vacation spot...

Pros: Peaceful and quiet. A great rustic getaway.
Cons: Better locks on cabin doors.
Location: Wineries, shops, restaurants were all a quick drive away.
A great stay. The owner was very friendly and the facility is very well kept.

Incredible property!!!

Posted Feb 18, 2015
Pros: Everything.
Cons: Leave a list of restaurants that deliver to the cabin, if any.
Location: Right outside of downtown Fredericksburg! Could walk if wanted a long walk (about 1 mile). Hike Enchanted Rock. Do NOT miss the Pacific War Museum.
Absolutely incredible long weekend at Baron's Creekside. Not usually a fan of rural properties, cabins or 1 room stays (I enjoy suites), but this blew me away. We stayed in Zermatt and it was everything we hoped and more than we expected!! I've traveled the world and this was a slice of heaven. Can't wait to go back.

Intimate, creek side cabin

Posted Feb 14, 2015
Pros: Ambience and tranquility. Cabins were separated by 40-50 yards.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was as advertised and worked.
Location: Fredericksburg is famous German-founded, Hill country shopping. Enchanted Rock Is a large monolith within 30 minutes. Numerous local wineries
We had a wonderful night at Baron's. We enjoyed it so much that we have again booked a two night stay during 2015 Bluebonnet season in 60 days. The owner was available Sunday evening when we arrived and a most gracious host. The accommodation was a unique blend of old and new in a tranquil, Hill Country setting.

Cons: add a small in-cabin breakfast
We took our parents here for an 80th birthday celebration. We are originally from Switzerland. We met the owner who was very hospitable. The entire experience was incredible--- 2 big thumbs up! Surpassed expectations. I'd come here for a romantic getaway in a heartbeat!

Nice quiet setting close to town.

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: The location is lovely and very quiet.
Cons: I have nothing that I can offer to improve.
Location: Very close to Fredericksburg, Texas, but settting is outside in the country. Close enough that you can quickly get back to town to shop or eat.
This would be a wonderful setting for a family reunion. Our cabin was very clean and the setting was close to town and very quiet. The ducks are quite friendly!
