July 4th WeekendPosted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: The hotel met our expectations and provided a good base for our weekend trip.
Cons: The A/C unit appeared to be a little undersized for the hot July weather, but was acceptable.
Location: The hotel about 1.5 miles from the main street attractions, but we were able to find parking and visited all the shops & museum without any problems.
We stayed one night during the July 4th weekend. The room was fine, no problems.

Nice HotelPosted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: Fredricksburg is the new wine country, and this was a nice place to stay between visits to wineries.
Nice and friendly staff, except they stopped checking me in to take a phone call for room reservations. And when I was checking out another employee also took a call but ended up taking a phone number to return the call. Only one person was on duty both times, so they were trying to keep up with all that was going on.

Exceeded expectationsPosted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: Everything. I will definitely be returning.
Location: The location is off the main traffic route which I really liked for access and reduced traffic noise.
I was very very pleased with the hotel. Extremely nice and well kept. Rooms were beyond my expectations. The breakfast that was served in the lobby area was also very nice. All of the area in and around the hotel was well kept.

The manager Laura came through for usPosted May 12, 2014
Because of a computer error, we had two reservations for the same night. It was the hotel's policy to not give refunds within 24 hrs. After some hesitation, Laura agreed to contact the owner and let us get a refund for one of the reservations. I appreciate her efforts.

Very nice hotel and you can't beat the price.Posted Feb 3, 2014
Pros: Very nice décor and very clean.
Cons: Rooms are a little congested. Need bigger rooms or less furniture.
Location: Main St. Shops, Great local food, Hunting, Museums.
Great hotel and because it's just off of the Main St. in Fredericksburg it is a bit cheaper. The lobby, breakfast room, and hotel rooms were spotless. The rooms themselves are a bit on the small side, so trying to sleep 4 could be a bit much.

Nice stayPosted Jan 21, 2014
Staff friendly. We had king bed and room had micro and mini fridge which would be nice if we had stayed longer than 1 night. We walked to Main Street and was a nice walk but not .5 miles...although we didn't mind. Very quiet at night. Only negative was breakfast ... Great for kids but not best. It did get us going and on our way!

Location: Like the location, just far enough out to have little traffic noise, but still convenient to downtown.
