Days Inn Kerrville Tx....Just barely OK

Clean, well priced for what it was. Had four rooms booked. One had bad smell so staff changed the room. Did not note the change in system and night staff thought new room was available. Twice during the night people were assigned the room and tried to enter. Kind of scary!! Finally at 2:30 AM manager called and woke us to see if we were in the room!! Didn't rest or sleep well the rest iof the night. Bad experience, but no problem with the other three rooms. Manager apologized during the 2:30 AM called, but that didn't make it OK.

Pros: price
Clean, comfortable, cheap. No Frills value to spend the night. Very nice staff. No problem getting late check out. Have paid more and got less.

Not bad for a cheap hotel.

Definitely nothing fancy, but it was cheap. There was a dead cockroach in our room, but clean otherwise. Rooms are outdated. Front desk was friendly, but a man on the room cleaning team was very rude.

Great for the price

Pros: Location is great. Price was great.
Location: Its Kerrville. There isn't much to do here!
This is a fairly small establishment -- my room was newly painted, shower worked great. Room was nice. Finally figured out which temperature would keep me cool enough over night. Breakfast is pro-forma but adequate and the coffee is good. Location for me was perfect. I was surprised to get such a good price during the week of the Kerrville Folk festival. There is a fridge and microwave which would be useful for future trips there.

I booked a room with 2 Queen beds

Pros: The beds were comfortable
Cons: The correct sizes for the rooms/beds should be listed and advertized
I booked a room with two queen beds, and got a room with two double beds. When I talked to the staff they insisted that the beds were queen size. Not what I'd paid for or expected. If half of our group hadn't canceled right before the trip there wouldn't have been enough room.

Good overall - rate and place

Pros: Location and rate
Cons: Second floor not level entry not level.
Location: Its Kerrville. There isn't much to do there...
I go to Kerrville to landscape my sister-in-laws front yard. So, I look for the lowest rate each time I go. This one was the lowest and I enjoyed the place. Very nice at a good price. Breakfast room bright.
