“Perfect end to a day of hiking at Enchanted Rock”
very quaint and clean. lovely German pastries for breakfast.
“the best hotel for the money”
it was really nice easy to get to and real close to the town
“Perfect night's stay.”
At check-in, all I had to do was show up and give my name. I promptly received two key cards from the very nice clerk, and I was on my way to my room, which was clean and orderly. The complementary German pastry breakfast was a very nice touch.
“affordable motel within walking distance”
A no frills motel with free parking. Breakfast was nothing to speak about. We were satisfied for what we paid.
“Just OK”
Just an ok place to stay. Very close to the main part of town.
“Very comfortable.”
Comfortable on ground floor.Staff very friendly.Great pastries from German bakery. Would definitely stay there again.
“Fredericksburg was jumping”
Thanksgiving weekend in Fredericksburg was very busy and exciting. The lights in Johnson City were fabulous. Shopping was very crowded, can't find parking spots very easily. Restaurants were very crowed. Fun town
“Better than I thought”
I was a little worried about staying at the Econolodge but from the reservation desk to check-out it was a perfectly fine experience. The room was not the most fancy I'd ever been in but it had been updated and was perfectly nice for us. I would, and did, recommend this motel to another couple looking for a place to stay in Fredericksburg. You are about 3/4 of a mile from the main drag and across the street and down from a big HEB and a Walgreens.
“typical stay”
Stayed at the econo lodge and it was a typical hotel. The room was clean and spacious, the staff was friendly, and the outside was nice. Pretty standard stuff, a good place if you are on a budget.
“Great value”
We arrived and our room was ready. Lady at front desk a little rude but she got better with time!
