“"Pleasant Stay"”

Easy access, clean rooms, plenty of close parking, friendly staff and a great breakfast each morning. We definitely will stay here again on our next visit to Fredericksburg and have advised our friends & family to do the same.

“Great little hotel.”

The hotel was very nice. The bed and bedding was one of the most luxurious I have ever slept in. Breakfast was nice, with great waffles. They had a small lap pool that I wish I could have enjoyed, but not enough time, altho it looked as if it needed some chemicals (the water was a little cloudy). I would absolutely stay there again.

“Comfy stay in Fredericksburg!”

The staff was friendly and the breakfast hit the spot and there was plenty for the guests. The room was clean, cozy and the bed was extremely comfortable. Close parking and make sure to try getting a room facing the East side. Nice view of the Tx. hills. Is it not walking distance from the shops but only a short pleasant drive. We had a great stay overall and for a great price. I would stay there again.

“Great Fredrickdburg location!”

This hotel was previosly a Holiday Inn Express. Nothing as changed in service or conditions since the change to Howard Juhnson.

“Much better than expected!”

I felt that the Howard Johnson Motel in Fredericksburg was extremely nice and priced low compared to the other motels in town.

“Great Hotel for the Price!”

We found it to be very nice. Breakfast was good and quick. I would recommend this hotel! It is kind of off the beaten path which made it quiet. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. We had no problems with hot water like others have reported.

“Nice comfortable stay”

Check in was very smooth and quick. Staff was very friendly for entire stay. Room was nice, clean, spacious. Was missing microwave and small fridge. but complimentay b'fast was good; except for one morning when eggs were VERY dry. Evidently made from a dry mix or something similar. Make your own waffles were okay. Biscuits were good. Gravy had sausage in it. Okay if you eat meat; I don't! There was a porch around two sides of the eating area that made morning breakfast of any down time pleasant. Location was on far end of town. Would that be east or west? Would stay at this location again.

“Average Hotel”

Room was comfortable and clean. Continental breakfast was fair but it seemed they ran out of items quickly and were slow to restock or didn't restock at all. We were on the second floor and had to go down to the bottom floor to get ice because that was the only ice machine. All in all it was decent for the price but we will probably try a different hotel next time we're in Fredericksburg.

“NEEDS CORRECT PHONE NUMBER AND DIRECTIONS!”

You get what you pay for. My best friend and I were looking for an average hotel and this is exactly what we got. The walls were paper-thin, the directions and phone number on this website was incorrect. I do have to say that the free breakfast was a little surprise. There is plenty to choose from and was fairly good.
