“Fredericton Inn”

This is an average hotel for Fredericton at an average price. It's up the top of the hill near the malls and an alternative to the two main hotels downtown that are always over-priced. Getting out of the hotel to go back downtown is complicated and you need to turn into the adjacent mall parking lot to turn around

“Not as good as it sounds on Expedia”

The building is old and maintenance is at a bare minimum. Rooms are clean, but this is not exactly a resorty inn, but more a motel with some extra features. Security seems inadequate, many doors lead to the interior and all are open at all hours. The room lock was also not robust. Right next to a strip mall, so had some security concerns.

“Satisfied”

This is basically a glorified motel, situated beside Hwy 2 and a large mall on the outskirts of the city. It was quite satisfactory, but much further from downtown Fredericton than I'd anticipated. Also the entrance is not easily accessible by car.

“there are better hotels than this one in Fredericton”

The connection to Eternet was very slow even though they told me it was high speed. The room was clean but it was not very quiet. We could hear the room below me late in the night.

“Check your room first”

The Inn is a little tired. Make sure to inspect your room before check-in.

“Ok for the price.”

The hotel had old carpet that has been cleaned too often and stuck to beer feet as a result. The tile in the bathroom was old but clean.

“Not that Clean”

The grout in the bathroom in our room was mouldy and dirty. The soap dish looked as if it had not been cleaned for quite some time. Carpets were not very clean and did not look like they had been recently vacumed. I am from Fredericton so I am quite familiar with all of the hotels there and this is not one I had stayed at previously on my visits. I wrote a letter to the management regarding my concerns and asking them to clean the room properly but they did not respond. I would not recommend this hotel

“I have stayed in few bad hotels, this was one of them.”

1-Their internet connection was not functioning at all. Upon my inquiry, I was told that too many guests are using it. So it was an repaired failure. 2- The window installed cooler was too noisy. We had to turn it off and open the window. Then we were constantly disturbed by the noise. 3-Cars leaving early morning woke us since cars parked only one foot from the window of our room. No parking spot was assigned to each guest so their moving would not disturb others. 4-we had asked an upper floor room but our requirement was ignored.
