Best if you bring a vehiclePosted Nov 9, 2014 on Hotels.com
It's no Ritz, obviously. The owner is very friendly and accommodating, the room was always clean, what more do you want from a cheap hotel? Well, a little closer to town would be nice - as I said bring a vehicle - I did a lot of walking and there's really nothing to see for the first 4km.

Its the first time my family and I go for a long trip. We went around the province of new-Brunswick and it's also my first time booking hotels with hotel.com. The Norfolk motel in Fredericton was my worst experience I'm disappointed and discourage about this. The motel was in a bad condition and dirty, nothing was working properly the floor was sinking there was no lock on the door the ceiling fan was missing pieces the door knob was almost falling off the door the towels were dirty there was a bad smell in the room, even the office was in a very bad shape, we didn't sleep all night cause we were scared of what could of happen. This motel shouldn't even be listed in hotels.com I'm very frustrated about this and I should get my money back. I don't recommend this motel to anyone :(

Not bad for the price.Posted Oct 9, 2012
Pros: Easy check out.
Cons: Curtains and bedding should be updated.
Location: A few minutes outside of town on North side, about 10 min drive to downtown Fredericton.
Room was clean, furniture was okay. Fixtures and appliances a little run down looking. There was some trash scattered along the ground outside my door which was eventually cleaned up. On check out you just lock the keys in the room, which is a convenient option to have.

Except for the lack of a continental breakfast, the Norfolk though just basic is a good value for people. The neighboring Ramada Inn has a good family restaurant . and is nearby. Be sure to have good directions and locate it on Rte 205 (I believe) as well as Riverside Ave, across the river from the heart of Fredericton.

Great little motel.Posted May 29, 2012
Pros: The peace and quiet. I had a great sleep.
The Motel would be an ideal starting point if you have bicycles. You are 1km from a beautiful trail system. The price was great, I find most of the motels and hotels in the Fredericton area are overpriced. I could not find a campground when I googled Fredericton either! I stayed in room 110, which was at the far end of the motel. I could not get wi-fi with my 15 year old laptop. My laptop was only showing 2 bars for wi-fi. The motel was clean and quiet. I will definitely stay here again on my way through. Like I said, you can bike anywhere in the city from the motel. I went for a run from the motel, basically take the 2nd right and it will take you right to the trail. You can either go right, which takes you out into the country. If you turn left the trail takes you into the city.

Just across the river from UNBPosted May 23, 2012 on Hotels.com
The motel room was comfortable and not expensive. It was convenient for a UNB graduation because we had our car. However, there was no food available, just a soft drink machine, for which we were thankful. There were no restaurants or convenience stores in the immediate area, which was a quiet neighbourhood. We had to drive quite a distance to get breakfast. We had a room in the back, facing trees, which was pleasant and away from street noise. The UNB graduation was great.
