“Impressive Hotel”

Very impressive. The staff is so friendly, and it is family owned, but there is so much to this hotel. The Restaurant they have on site is amazing, its affordable (which is rarity on the island) and they give you a ton of food. The rooms are nice, and it has WIFI in the rooms. The TVs are the old style tube TV's, but that's not really a complaint to me. I feel the Bell Channel Inn is a great stay, mainly because it is so close to port lucaya (about a 10-15minute walk away) and from there you can catch a bus to anywhere you need to go. If your looking for a resort, this is not that type of place, but for a hotel it offers way more than other hotels on the island can offer!

“Great Place To Stay”

I went on a couple of tours there and the desk person was great in directing us to the right people to talk to and making arrangements. The tour director was knowledgeable and very accomodating. Though I was on a business trip it felt like an unplanned and welcomed vacation. The staff was very courteous and professional, I will be back.

“If you are diving, consider Bell Channel Inn”

Bell Channel Inn has everything you need for a diving vacation. Clean, comfortable rooms (with AC), friendly and responsive staff, and a restaurant "Upstairs" with a menu diverse enough to hold you for a week. Carribean Divers shop is right out front to sign up for your dives, and the dive boat is right out back. They have a nice pool and outdoor area that is usable when the shade moves over in the afternoon. Not much to do for spouse or kids while you are on the boat though, so if they aren't diving, they'll need to cab it or get a lift to their activities. If you are thinking of walking to the shopping area, the heat will catch up with you - just take a cab or bus.

“Great place to rest your head and relax!”

The Hotel is a quaint, cozy place with excellent and friendly staff. If your looking for 5 star perks, then this is not the place for you. But if you want a getaway that's not too far from the hustle of the beach, quiet, comfortable room than this is the place for you. All-inclusive hotel buyers, stay away! Those who like a chill vacation with no hassle and friendly staff, Bell Channel is the place for you!

“Small but perfect!”

Bell Channel was amazing!! It was close enough to Lucaya Market to walk every time, but far enough to be away from the noise of the bars at 2AM. Our first impression was a little poor simply because the hotel is outdated. But don't get me wrong, we LOVED our stay here. Attached to the hotel is a restaurant where we we bought breakfast everyday. My favorite was eggs, toast, hashbrowns, and coffee for $4.00. You are also able to buy lunch and dinner. The rooms are also very spacious and can look out onto the bay. Finally, the service at the front desk is amazing. They were so helpful and so nice we felt right at home. They took care of us if we had any type of question or concern. The hotel is outdated but it was perfect for our group!!

“A great place.”

This place was a great place to stay. It was easy to find and has a great restaurant (and a excellent bartender/waitress) upstairs. The staff was so friendly and helpful with everything. The hotel has great views of the bay and a nice pool. Also, ask about the free bahama mama at the restaurant for guests! I would totally recommend staying here.

“Wonderful in every way!!! Totally recomend for any person traveling on a budget.”

The Bell Channel Inn is awesome for anyone who is down to earth and not looking for the Ritz. I stayed there 4 night with my friend, we are both young women and we felt totally safe! The people there are absolutely the kindest people ever and the food is cheap and good! there is a bar in the hotel, washer dryer avaliable, and a pool. All rooms have a balcony that overlooks the bell channel. This place is just what I wanted, an affordable place that is not sleezy and that I could feel safe! totally recomend for people who are layed back and on a budget. Not recomended for people who want high class expensive place, like honey mooners. But, when I go back you can bet that's where I'll be staying, every time!

“Bell Channel is the way to go”

Bell Channel Inn is AWESOME. I'm glad we stayed here. The rooms were very spacious and I love that they had balcony's and refrigerators. The food at the restaurant was reasonably priced and delicious. The staff was always friendly and it was just a great and relaxing time. The Bahamas are expensive in and of itself, so make sure you visit a supermarket and stock up on snacks (be ready for sticker shock). There was a bus stop outside the hotel, and Port Lucaya was a 15-20 min. walk. The pool was small, but as the hotel was not crowded, it fit the bill. I am glad I chose this place, and would stay here again.
