Pros: It had a relaxing atmosphere.
Location: It is away from the busy areas of Freeport so it was quiet. Only one block to the beach.
My first time here and I was not disappointed (three night stay). I was here for business and the internet was good and the room was spacious (I even got a free upgrade because my room was not ready when I arrived). Kitchen was well furnished and the beach only one block away. I never did try the pool - didn't have time. The hosts were friendly and helpful. No restaurants or stores close by, however, but I was renting a car so no problem. I was disappointed that there was not enough hot water to fill the hot tub. Overall, I was pleased and I do plan on returning.

Out of the way hotel close to the beachPosted Dec 9, 2014
Pros: We like the more secluded location, proximity to the ocean, and quietness.
Cons: Uodated decor, updated linens in the other two bedrooms, and a thorough cleaning of the entire place. A vacuum and mop would have helped us.
Location: We went to the beach at leas twice a day and played in the ocean. The bay is very protected from large waves so it was a great place for the kids.
We stayed at Dundee bay in November so the weather fluctuated dramatically from day to day. We loved the out of the way location as we like a more quiet and secluded experience when we travel. Peace and relaxation is our goal. The beach is only 100 yards away and is fairly large so there was always plenty of room to find a spot for our family of 6 to "set up camp". The hotel itself is ok, nothing great but nothing horrible either. Our suite was large and accommodating but dated and not as clean as we would have liked. The staff are helpful and laid back, we received everything we asked for from them promptly and with friendliness.

sehr schöne Lage, 100 Meter zum Strand (unverbaut), direkt am Kanal, großzügige Apartments mit guter Ausstattung, aber leider wenig gepflegt und wenig sauber, viel Renovierungsbedarf

Old. There was not enough hot water to take a normal length shower; let alone TWO people to take a shower and still have hot water. I took a shower; stopping and starting the water; in order to conserve the hot water. Still, my husband always had a cold shower after about 2 minutes into the shower. When I tried to fill the jacuzzi tub, the hot water lasted enough to fill about 2 inches of water. The owner told us that, "sometimes you just have to wait a little while for the hot water to catch up." This was the owner's idea of addressing our concerns. Logically, by the time you could fill the tub enough to take a bath, the initial water would be cold. The handle of the tub faucet twirled around, and did not stop. The faucet of the tub pulled out of the wall. Someone had tried to affix it with caulk, but it was pulling out of the shower wall. The bed was uncomfortable. I think a pull out couch bed would have been more comfortable. We were about 10 minutes from a restaurant. The "main" tourism area of the island was 10 minutes away. We knew this when we booked, we just didn't realize that there is NOTHING else around. The beach was right across the street, but was rocky. Our flight home was canceled. We booked a room for double the price at another hotel, because we wanted somewhere nice to stay. The lower cost, nice description, location near a beach, and obviously photo-shopped pictures were why we booked this hotel.
