Close to the beach and awesome pool!Posted Jun 23, 2014
Hotel was basic. You get what you pay for. We didn't need anything fancy so this did just fine. The fridge/kitchenette was a bonus we weren't expecting. Neither was cable or free wifi! Can't beat that. Room was ok in terms of cleanliness and condition, but again, we didn't mind we were rarely there. The pool is so awesome, we spend nearly a whole day there once we discovered the in cave swim-up bar! 2 for 1 happy hour drinks in there too! Staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. Will stay again!

Nice place very close to the beachPosted May 29, 2014
Pros: Staff, near the beach
Cons: Room could use some minor touch ups
The staff was great and very helpful! Room could use some work but it was still very good especially for the price. Taino beach was one of the nicer beaches on the island. I would definitely stay here again!

awesome pool and beach close byPosted May 19, 2014
Pros: ability to use amenities of taino beach resorts
Location: boat takes you to port lucya your there in 5 minutes casino, shopping, restaraunts and bars!! not to mention the beautiful beaches and water sports
located on waterfront canal, nice to watch the boats launch. Located a short walk across the street. I stayed with my mom and her friend eho are both in their 70's and were easily able to make the short walk to the beach. The pool is great, has a low shallow end allowing easy access for the young and old. Rooms were clean and a good size.

breakfast was excellentPosted Feb 9, 2014
Pros: Breakfast, and the ability to eat in the room
Cons: Don't get me started.
Location: Just the beach and marina
Room was clean and all things needed were there. Air conditioner made noise all the time. Furnishings were seedy. Now the wake up call was unbelievable. I asked for a wake up at 6:00AM, while watching TV , the wake up came at 6:00PM. The next morning the wake up came, and i hurried to get dressed so as to meet my taxi. I went down to turn in my key, only to notice the time was 2:45AM. Back to my room to sleep. The next wake up came, and I repeated the process only to note that the time was 4:45AM

Pros: ferry service
Cons: elevators installed
Very small rooms, no elevators, long walk to the beach, however I did like the ferry on our back dock.

Very good hotel for the pricePosted Nov 18, 2013
Staff is very nice, specially front desk people. You can use the great pool that some other three hotels have at Taino beach. The breakfast buffet is very louded with things you may expect at a good price. Rooms are a little old but clean and the A/C was like new. It had a modern TV. Conclusion, a good choice.

Avoid by all means!Posted Jul 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our stay was absolutely horrible! This is one of the nastiest properties I have ever experienced. The first room they gave us had a broken AC unit. The room they moved us to didn't have a night lamp for reading and I had to keep the ceiling light on in order to read, which bothered my room mate. The blankets on both beds had big holes in them, and the toilet had HAIR on the seat. I went through an entire packet of CLOROX wipes before I dared use this disgusting bathroom. The only good thing about this hotel is that it provides access to the beautiful beach and pool of the Taino Beach Resort accross the street, but the whole experience is depressing and disgusting. Avoid by all means!
