Each apartment, suite, or townhouse faces the yacht harbor and includes either a grand-floor patio or upper-floor balcony. Ceiling fans and air-conditioning provide cooling alternatives. Esther's Pool Bar - Casual, open-air spot adjacent to pool in townhouse/apartment section. Umbrella tables on wood deck. American-breakfast items. Lunch menu of burgers, hot dogs, steak. Wednesday steak dinner. Sunday barbecue dinner.
Caribbean Sunset Bar - Casual, open-air spot adjacent to suites building. Open in evening. Swim-up bar. Seating on expansive patio and under veranda roof draped with marine artifacts. Dinner menu of steak, chicken, fish, burgers, hot dogs, snacks.
Recreation
Powerboats, bicycles, and scuba diving and snorkeling gear can be rented at Ocean Reef Yacht Club & Resort. Play on a hard-surface tennis court is complimentary.

“Tranquility is good.”
I can't say there was a lot to do. The resort is not located on the beach and they didn't have many resort sponsored activities. But since I was going for R & R and not Fun int the Sun it all worked for me,
“October in Freeport is Great!!!”
I visited this trip via Expedia but also own two weeks at Ocean Reef. I did notice that I get a much better one bedroom apartment when I use my weeks. The apt we got was very small but clean and included everything we needed. The resort is a very quiet and relaxing place to stay.
“Relax in Freeport”
I read some of the other reviews that weren't as positive and I don't know if there has been a change in management, but our experience was perfect! Our townhouse was reasonably priced, very roomy, very comfortable and clean. The resort rents kayaks for $5 a day (which we took advantage of) and it was close to town. Staff was super friendly and helpful, and the food was good at the restaurant. It is generally quite, but that was a plus for us! It's not brand new, but it's very well kept. And the the pools were delightful. We can't wait to get back!

Staff was very professional and friendly. I had a one bedroom suite. The space was very compact but nice. There are many amenities offered at the hotel - 2 pools, fitness room, free scuba diving lesson, restaurant on the premises, computer access, sailing, etc. Overall, the hotel was nice, but the bed in my room was lumpy and there is not enough space for your clothes.

Office closes at 5pm...strange for a hotel. Got in at 7pm and had to wait approx 30mins for the Resident Manager Ray to come to get us our keys. Security Officer Rolle was the best, outstanding customer service from him!!! Room is a carport conversion, tight and small, so the bed greets you as you enter, could barely open the door. Bathrooms are old, shower stall was 2ft X 2ft, could not lift your arms while in it! Lighting in there is poor to say the least. Had a massage chair....the saving grace of the room!!!

“Mixed Feelings”
We had a very pleasant stay. Our room was comfortable and nice. Even though the hotel is not on the beach the free shuttle rides to the beach every weekday were helpful. The hotel restaurant's hours were very irregular and posted activities like yoga didn't happen and no one could be found who knew why. There were several group games and dinners which I was not interested in. As a result I recieved several calls to my room to ask if I could come out and join the group. I found that very annoying. Overall the hotel was nice. The staff was overbearing while at the same time often absent when I had questions.

The hotel was OK. The service was horrible. The alcoholic berverages were horrible. Not much to do at the hotel.
