“Great hotel, great location”

Was in Lucaya during the off-season (oct) Pelican Bay is a great hotel, quiet enough to be relaxing and nice to return to, but close enough to be on the beach within minutes. Will return.

“Wonderful Honeymoon Hotel”

We were celebrating our honeymoon and it was as if the whole staff took it to heart. They were all very pleasant, helpful and just seemed as though they could not do enough. (they even made me a name badge as a special guest. Breakfast was very nice especially sitting by the water. We also enjoyed getting the copy of the paper and pastries delivered to our room in the morning.

Great hotel, really enjoyed the ferry boat to the resort where there was a great water park for kids.

Very pleased, Facilities were very nice and staff helpful with ANY request. Water taxi to Taino Beach was a nice option. Pool, restaurant, bar, and breakfast were nice. Location adjacent to Unexso very handy for the scuba divers

“Definitely worth the trip”

My daughter(23yrs) and I stayed for 4 nights and had a great time! We needed a quick getaway and made our reservation just 2 weeks in advance. The hotel has a great breakfast even though it says "continental". We enjoyed smoked salmon, eggs & fresh fruit bowls among the usual items. We never had to take a taxi as the marketplace is right next door and we found plenty of shopping and restaurants to enjoy. The beach is across the street. You must have the cracked conch and the conch chowder at Breezes. Pack light as everything is very casual. If you want an excellent meal and upscale atmosphere, then go to Luciano's. The filet and lobster tail were supurb!

“2 time winner”

This is one of few places in the Bahamas that we have returned to. They are continuously upedated and improving the grounds and services! Easy walk to beach and MANY restaurants, yet a very peaceful place!

very friendly staff, big rooms with tile floors and bright linens, beautiful balcony overlooking bay. short 6 min. boat ride to beach that was unexpected and fun each day. 3 min walk to good restaurants and good local shopping. not over commercialized and touristy, though. we loved our short visit.

“excellent hotel, service, and room”

I really enjoyed my romantic stay here. The grounds are beautiful, especially the color scheme of the architecture. The staff was very courteous and responsive. Room service was impeccable, though I recommend leaving $5 each day to keep it that way as that is the way things are done around here (well worth it. Room was well furnished with an especially nice bed and blankets. Our particular view over the pool and into the bay was quite nice. Hot tub and pool are ok, though not as spacious or well-designed as other nearby hotels. We tried to use the hot tub an hour before it was supposed to be closed and they had already turned it off and would not turn it back on. That is really the only bad experience I had the entire time! I recommend this to travelers looking for a nice well-rounded hotel, but keep in mind this is not as nice as other 5-stars in the area but really was a great place to stay.
