Spring Break in New Orleans

Posted Mar 25, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff. Loved staying in the French Quarter, easily walked to sites.
Cons: Only thing that I think could be improved was, had to ask for more towels & TP daily.
Location: 2 blocks from Bourbon St. and w/in walking distance of Jackson Square.
Authentic and historic. Quaint and comfortable.

Pros: The history and most of the employees.
Cons: Evening staff being more helpful after a long arrival for a guest.
Location: Louis Armstrong Park very close. It was about a 20 min. Stroll to Cafe du Monde and JacksonSquare.
Excellent experience overall.I had taken my Mother for an escape from the Michigan winter and should have been more specific. The first room was too many steps to get to and the room situation hard for my Mom. Once we clarified needs it was smooth sailing.

Charming, historic, 1770's, French Quarter Hotel

Posted Mar 21, 2015
Pros: Fabulous staff, history, surrounding lush environment
Location: It was within walking distance of anything in the French Quarter~ delicious cuisine (oysters being my fav!), night life, jazz, shopping.
The staff couldn't have been nicer, more accommodating and gracious! We arrived early (11AM off a Steamboat cruise) with one of our party being ill. Check in wasn't until 3, but they cleaned and readied a room for us by noon. It was quiet, restful. The room was of the 1780's~high ceiling, large windows but comforts of the present day. Throughout the grounds were little courtyards, swimming pools, plants~all of it just charming. Loved that every room was named after someone who had stayed there (Louis Armstrong!!!), as well as having been the first NOLA Jazz museum! Breakfast served right there in the lobby, with cookies, rolls, coffee, iced water waiting upon return in the afternoon.

NOT BAD

Posted Mar 20, 2015
If you expect absolute luxury this hotel is not for you. Good character quiet neighborhood good rate. Staff was very nice, free breakfast was good and the location is great. The family spent a lot of time at the hotel sitting by the small pools in the nice courtyards. I would book with this hotel again on our next trip.

Perfect hotel for French Quarters.

Posted Mar 15, 2015
Pros: Very nicely appointed.
Cons: Nice to have had beignets for breakfast.
Location: Well, you're in the French Quarter. There's plenty to do. We used taxis since I have problems with walking. Quite convenient.
Convenient and just a super nice environment. The staff is especially helpful and friendly. The room was quite small but also quite nice. Reminded us of our times in Paris where the rooms are not like they are in the U.S.. Also, this hotel has larger rooms available if you must but the ambiance and experience would not be the same. We truly enjoyed our two evenings there. The common area is very nicely done. We would stay at the St. Pierre again without a moment of hesitation.

ロケーションは最高。

Posted Mar 14, 2015

Close Enough To Bourbon Street But Far Enough Away

Posted Mar 13, 2015
Pros: Proximity to Bourbon Street. Close enough to wade in (3 blocks) and far enough to escape the noise and crowds.
Cons: Internet connectivity. New décor would be nice. It felt very dated.
Location: Location is perfect for Bourbon Street and the Quarter and good nights sleep.
I liked hotel. I loved location. Price was not bad. Room was old and poorly done. Not dirty but really small. Also internet passcode did not get me on line from my room (diagnostics said I was too far from server). Pretty place with two tiny dip pools if you wanted to cool off in summer. Common areas and staff nice. I would not hesitate to return.
