March - French QuarterPosted Mar 28, 2015
The room was nice and staff bent over backwards to help, that being said, four elevators and while we were there two worked ok the third finally was fixed and the forth was still out when we left. At times there was a line to use the elevators, we were on the 15th floor so we had to wait for them. $35/night for off street parking that you will gladly pay to keep your car secure so expect that added cost. I would try them again IF I ever go back.

Wyndham NOLA on Royal is a great stayPosted Mar 28, 2015
Pros: The location was great, close to everything including the Streetcars, Bourbon Street, and Jackson Square!
Cons: Overall the hotel needs to by updated a bit interior wear and tear, elevators were VERY slow. Guests of the hotel should be discounts for parking.
Location: Bourbon Street, Eat at Peir 424 and have the Shrimp and Fried Grits,Cafe Du Monde of course! Do a free walking tour of the garden district!
Yes, there are other hotels to stay at in NOLA. However, the price and location was a value! The beds were super comfortable and the room was very clean. The downside is that it a poplar spot, so the rooms and conditions of the hotel could use some updating. The staff was nothing but wonderful with us and really went up and beyond to ensure our stay was a wonderful one!

Cons: The only thing was they never left any washcloths? had to ask for them every time. Other than that it was all good.
The elevators broke. Down once but fixed in a couple of hours but we weren't checking in or out so it didn't effect us too bad but there was quite Aline for a while

Pros: location and ease for transport; comfortable bed; self temperature control in room
Cons: plumbing - there was a bathroom tub leak from the room above (we were gone during the day when it was fixed) ceiling had damage
Location: 1 block from Bourbon St.; 1 block from St. Charles Trolley to Garden District; 3 blocks from casino and then a few short blocks to riverwalk

If you like the French Quarter and Harrahs this isPosted Mar 21, 2015
The access ability to both the French Quarter and the casino of Harrah's is excellent. The restaurant and the food in the bar are okay but you are in NO. Service was very good.

Pros: Availability of room with two double beds. Location--easy walk to Canal St and areas in French Quarter.
Cons: Was overpriced for the type of accommodations--very expensive for Holiday-Inn-style premises. This was disappointing. Also, the Business Center down.
The Wyndham had one of the few rooms in the city with 2 double beds for the nights I wanted.

Nice hotel, great locationPosted Mar 20, 2015
This hotel offered some great amenities and it's location was fantastic. The staff was friendly and always greeted guests with a smile. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were cozy. My only bit of feedback was to have somewhere to hang clothes and perhaps a room safe for valuables. Other than that, good experience.
