"The property was within walking distance of Bourbon Street for enjoyment of all the activities, shops, and dining. Yet it is far enough away, to avoid the noise. Breakfast was good, included eggs, one meat, and a potato or biscuits (no gravy or sauce) yogurt and fresh fruit, along with the usual toast and bagels. We decided not to rent a car due parking costs. Uber and Lyft were readily available."

"Sadly we only had one night at the Hotel Monteleone,but we made the best of it. Perhaps the one regret is that the carousel bar was packed every time we checked it from noon til 11 pm, but the secondary bar nearer the stage was there for us and we enjoyed chatting with the bartender there and learning about Sazerac. Locations is the best in the FQ and staff fabulous! "

"This was an excelent location for a brief 2-night stay in NOLA. Due to severe weather, sightseeing time and options were limited, so being in the French Quarter was perfect. The hotel very coveniently has a bar and a breakfast and lunch restaurant. It is also close to more restaurants and bars and shops, and is a short walk to Cafe du Monde and to Bourbon St, but is on a more mellow street itself. Glad we stayed here instead of the business district. Room was comfortable and staff were all very nice. "
