“Our 'go to' place to stay in Fresno”
Located in the center of town, although tucked away from busy Shaw Avenue, the Courtyard is quiet, comfortable, and newly remodeled. Although we didn't stay for breakfast this stay, the restaurant is great with lots of choices for every appetite. This is always our first choice.
“Great Hotel”
has a breakfast and coffee shop. easy to get a bite to eat.
“Breath of fresh air in Fresno”
This hotel was clean, the staff members were very professional and delivered great service. The free wifi and 24 hour gym with complimentary towels and ear buds for the TVs on the machines were a huge plus for me. I like how it is catered to business travelers so the service is very quick and there are many amenities that are quite convenient: free wifi, convenient parking, 24 hour "market' for snacks and toiletries and the bistro which offers food to go in addition to dining in. The rooms could use a little TLC with the fixtures, for example the shower head was a little loose from the wall in addition to the door lock. Also, the bathroom could use a bit more light. The bed was very comfortable and the LG flat screen TV was crystal clear. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and will definitely return.
“Not impressed”
Though the hotel was very new...they gave us a room in the very worst part of the hotel next an side entrance and stairway. This room is not fit to be anything other than a storage room due to it's location. The doors to the side entrance which were litterally 10 ft from our door are the heavy duty metal doors and they opened & slammed shut all night long as guests went to their rooms. People went up and down the stairs (the other side of our wall) making noise...in two words NO SLEEP...gap under door is 1 inch and they are so thin that every noise sounds like it's in your room. In the morning we noticed our TV didn't work...my husband and I were joking with each other that they gave us the "Exedia.com room"...the worst one in the hotel...LOL. when we complained they said, " Well since you paid through Expedia, we can't do anything..you'll have to complain to them" OMG I will certainly do that!!!
“Another Courtyard in a A adjacency otherwise B location”
Hotel sits back behind field which is not very attractive. Other than that, it is a Courtyard and as such very predictable.
“Hidden Hotel”
The hotel is set off the street and HARD TO FIND! After driving back and forth many times, we FINALLY used On Star. Signage really needs to be improved! Hotel was okay, but we don't prefer the Temprapedic mushy beds. All else was fine.
“Needs update”
Property is worn.Needs update.
“Nice Surprise in Fresno”
I dont travel a lot, so I am not always sure what to expect at hotels. This one was a very nice surprise. My room was spacious and clean. The bed was fabulously comfortable with really upscale linens. I can't usually afford hotels with these features! I am a bit of a germ-phobe so I checked it out closely and the room and bathroom were extremely clean. It was strange that there were so few TV channels available, but it wasn't a big deal as I was happy to soak in the tub and read after a long day and mostly just used the TV as background noise. Speaking of noise, the hotel is very quiet, and the courtyard area is pretty, with a gazebo and lush landscaping. Overall, it seemed like a pretty posh place for the money and I was pretty excited as it was a real treat for me. NIce little marketplace where you can buy snacks, and the lobby really is furnished so nicely that its a cool place o hang out. Sunday morning includes a free newspaper-nice touch. The hotel provides breakfast but its a little pricey, especially when there is a Panera bakery nearby. My only real complaint was the locks on the sliding doors seemed flimsy, not very comforting for a woman staying alone in a room on the outside of the building. All in all a fun place to spoil yourself. There is an awesome outdoor mall nearby that bustles on weekend evenings, includes many fun shops and restaurants.
“Good value in Fresno”
Hotel was quiet and clean. Comfortable room with easy access. Would return.
“Billing & Services”
I would not use the term 'continental' to describe the breakfast. It was a buffet with a variety of juices, eggs, waffles, fresh fruit, danishes, cereals etc. It was really well done and we enjoyed every bite! Front desk staff friendly, hotel does appear to be older - but most everything appears to have been upgraded. Rooms were immaculate and having a balcony was very nice. They even have a fold out couch with extra blankets to make that bed if you still want the king size bed, but have your kids with you. Although the bed was comfortable the matresses are older. I probably would not have noticed if they had a mattress cover that fit the bed. The edges of the sheet were right on the mattress which I was not happy about. They did accidently charge our account a few days after we left for something we had already paid for, but when I called to bring to their attention, they quickly confirmed it was already paid for and reversed the charges. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would stay there again.
