“Not impressed”
The room was clean and nice, hotel said newly remodled, where? $5.00 parking fee, why. Homeless people were sleeping in parking garage for free and we had to step over puddles of their pee to get to our car.
“The price was excellent, however, I will not go back.”
We got a really great price for two rooms. My room sheets had to be changed because there was hair on the sheets. The room was really nice, but the neighborhood was a little scary, we took all of our belongings out of the car and took them to our room with us.
“Downtown Fresno”
My 5th floor room was tastefully and attractively furnished. Bed was comfortable. Front desk service was mostly competent, though not solicitous. Restaurant was rather drab though my breakfast was satisfying. Downtown Fresno has not yet gentrified. Here and there it is seedy. If you do not stray too far from the hotel and use common sense, you'll be fine.
“Great hotel if you are there to party...but not ideal for business”
The rooms are beautiful and the beds are comfy. The bathroom was clean and the shower was great. Great free internet connection. Good climate control. I would have slept well... but the walls are thin. The room next door was loud throughout the entire night...and not just muffled sounds. We could hear audible words and noises. I would stay here again only if I was in town to party and stay up all night.
“For the price I have stayed in better”

“Noisy Hotel”
There's a bus depot across the street so if you're placed in a street side room, you can expect to hear loud buses all night long. In addition, if you're placed in a room next to the elevators, you can expect to hear a loud ding every time someone reaches your floor - all night long. The lobby is nice and I enjoyed the flat screen tv, but the noise level did now allow a restful visit.
“probably not”
Got to our room, one bed, four people! OK that was fixed. Next morning set up room service for breakfast 7:30, 8:10 I called they said they were sooo busy, are you going to be here tomorrow? Yes. Ok we'll give you a free breakfast. So in other words we're not getting our food!! Had to find fast food on the way to Fresno State graduation. That night (Sat) you could here the music from the club in the room. Almost called the desk to see what time the club shut down but told myself to just ignore it. I think it was midnight when it was quiet. But I must say the rooms were very nice and they were quiet despite being able to hear the music. All I can say it must have been SO LOUD because we couldn't hear the drunk people next to us when they got into their room. Maybe they just passed out!!
“Bad neighborhood”
I picked this hotel for it's convenience to the highway and to the place I was visiting on business. The rooms were clean and comfortable however I did not feel secure going out of my room. The hotel parking and the elevator were connected to the casino next door. There were homeless people trying to panhandle in the garage on my arrival. It seemed that anyone could get onto the elevator and go up to the hotel room floors. I kept my room locked tight and only came out for meals and to come and go on business. The hotel did offer a breakfast coupon and their breakfasts were wonderful. The staff in the dining room was very nice and the breakfast very good. I was able to pick what I wanted off the menu and use the voucher to pay. Dinner was a little more challenging. I drove to dinner about 5 miles one night because my first dinner attempt was trying to get food from the local mexican restaurant. It was less than a block away, and the food was fantastic, but I was told by the hostess at the restaurant that it is not wise to go on the street after 5 pm. The streets were empty except for the casino goers and the homeless. For the safety reasons, I would not recommend this hotel. If they added some safety features, it would be good for overnight stays or business, but the neighborhood does not allow for an enjoyable visit.
“Good experience, would go back.”
Overall, a great experience, except the under ground parking gate that was broken and slow to repair.
“It was fine.”
After reading some of the reviews here, I was a little nervous about what to expect - but everything was fine. The front desk staff was courteous and helpful, both on check-in and check-out. Contrary to earlier guests' experiences, I never felt 'unsafe' or 'hassled' by homeless people in/near the parking garage or outside the hotel. In fact, they had security workers patrolling the garage throughout the evening. I visited in the winter, so didn't need A/C on in the room, so I can't speak to the issue of controlling the temperature. It was fine. Overall - a perfectly fine, reasonable hotel in a not-very-exciting city (They sort of rolled up the sidewalks at 5pm - which was a little surprising). After a long drive, it was decent and safe place to stay. No complaints.
