Never again!

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: The hotel lacks general routine maintenance. It "feels" cold, dirty, run down, with no attention at all to detail. Felt like owner's just don't care.
Hotel was located quite a ways from Woodward Park, on a busy street (Shaw) with no real convenient access to get in or out of the hotel. The elevator getting to the third floor made you think taking the stairs was a much better option if you valued your life. The room was freezing cold (59F) upon arrival and it took forever to get the temp up to 67F. The carpet in the room was nasty! There was no bath mat in the room, and only two towels. The TV was a joke. The picture was horrible. The room was run down and gave you the feeling that everything was just plain old and used. Do not expect Wi-Fi service. At least not if you need it to respond within an hour of your search. Reception was dreadful. Not what I expected for a La Quinta. The free breakfast the next morning was a cluster. Hotel staff knew that they were booked with cross country runners competing in the State Championships and were on an early schedule to eat and get to Woodward Park. They were ill prepared to handle the morning rush. Extremely poor planning by management, staff did the best they could under the circumstances. We actually felt bad for them. The place was NOT worth the money!

Family stay for Western Band Association

Posted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: Breakfast was nice. Lady serving breakfast was very attentive and a real hard worker.
Room was clean, but too many signs of wear: furniture was damaged, wall damaged, bedspread stained. Loud guests on my floor, fighting, yelling, cursing at 4:00am. Did not feel secure. Lobby was not attended to when we arrived.
