Very nice and clean room with friendly and helpful check in. Breakfast could be better, not up to same priced competition.

Hello to whom it concerns. We booked our room on Tuesday for that Saturday. 09/13/14 Our experience was the worst ever! We called to get an early arrival about 0730. Was told the room would be ready by 1400. We arrived about around 1710. Room still wasn't ready. Came back 30 minutes later and our key cards wouldn't open the door. Went to the front office. Security guard tried to help us get in our rooms and couldn't. Was told there weren't any more rooms available. Gentleman at the office tried to help open door and couldn't. He called for help and we didn't get into our room until 2100 at night and temp at 88 degrees. I noticed I had 3 to towels. I went to office to get more towels. Then at 0730 next morning I went to take a shower on 09/15/14. The bath tub was plastic and missing a liner. It felt like I was on a boat and I warned my wife to be careful. After that we went to the office to notify the help at the desk about our issues!. She said she was sorry but there was nothing she could do because I bought the room through Hotels dot com. The lady at the desk said she would refund our money but couldn't because I bought my room through Hotel's dot com. I am very disappointed and wouldn't recommend The Red Roof Inn to nobody!!!

Bad bedsPosted Sep 16, 2014 on Hotels.com
The beds were the most uncomfortable beds we have ever slept on

Absolutely FILTHY Carpet.Posted Sep 16, 2014
Pros: Only the bed.
Cons: Everything needs to be improved. There is no cleaning it anymore. Complete renovation is needed to make it bearable.
Location: NOTHING. We went there for a Fresno State vs Nebraska football game. That goodness Nebraska won or it would have been a terrible stay in Fresno.
Everything about this hotel was dirty and run down. The furniture was all chipped, the air conditioner worked but made a terrible noise, the refrigerator rattled, the recliner wouldn't come back down, the telephones were rotary but worse of all was the absolutely FILTHY carpet. It turned my feet black in a matter of minutes. The surroundings were run down, trash every where. When we asked the front desk clerk for a recommendation for a cheeseburger he sent us to a restaurant that didn't even have cheeseburgers on the menu. Upon checking in, they didn't have both of our rooms for both of our nights stating that the hotel was over booked. The only positive thing was that the king sized bed that we had was very comfortable and came with four pillows. The day we were leaving, we noticed trash and food, corn on the cob, in the pool. It was after 10:00 AM when we left and obviously nobody had checked the pool area. We will never stay there again nor would we ever recommend it. Terrible.

Red Roof FresnoPosted Sep 16, 2014 on Hotels.com
The room was dirty. There's no fridge and the A/C didn't work. Also the bath tub was gross we had to ask the cleaning people for a bottle of bleach to clean it ourselves. Plus they didn't put any towels in our room.

On its last legPosted Sep 15, 2014
Walked into to a shabby dreary lobby with what looked like long term residents sitting there. Staff was no where to be found. No way of contacting them. When he finally showed up, he told us he had been checking for available rooms. Seems the place was over booked and their system does not let expedia know this. He checked us into a room, which need to be cleaned still at 5:30PM. No problem as we were going to a game. When we arrived back, another party was in our room. Went to the front desk and found that we were the registered guests. Security and police were called to sort it out. At this point, the room was messed up and there was no way we were going to stay. The night time manager was at a point of not caring, didn't offer to make things right. He went back to watching TV while we called expedia to cancel the reservation and payment. The manager didn't acknowledge us as we walked out of the lobby, instead was ignoring us. It was 1 AM before, things were settled. We had to drive another two hours to find a place to rest. The security guard was nice and considerate. Total opposite of the other staff.

Not too clean. Smoke smell in room. Staff was not polite, and left a customer to go smoke a cigarette. No batteries in remote control
