“convienent location”

Our room was clean and comfortable. It was also very convienently located for our New Year's destination. We would stay at this motel again.

“Good value”

It was what was advertised and what I expected: not fancy, but clean. The basics were there and the people were nice. The breakfast wasn't much, but the same is true of almost all the other complimentary "breakfasts" at other hotels. Bottom line: we'd stay there again unless we can find a better value elsewhere, and we WOULD look around to see if we can find that.

“Just OK”

I was surprised not to find a hair dryer in the room. Room was basic, no frills what-so-ever. The staff did not know how to access the pool/spa area. Continental breakfast was lame. There was no cold water in the sink - it was hot or hotter, nothing in between. The room was clean which is always a plus. It was not totally unpleasant, however, and for the price it was acceptable. It was in a safe area with plenty of eateries nearby and main road access was convenient.

They only had 3 towels & washclothes for 4 people. Had to go to office to get more. Next day still only had 3 of each for 4 people. Not much of a contineltal breakfast, just cereal & toast.

“Shower goes from warm to cold to hot and back”

The pleasure of a shower is taken away by fear of burning or a cold shower within moments.

“Try to avoid”

This hotel is OK but the air conditionning did not work and made a lot of noise. Too hot, cannot open the window. Poor breakfast. Everything else is OK

“Don't get the room next to the stairs.”

The floor and furniture shook just like an earth quake every time someone went up or down the stairs. Also, the sheets on the beds were not fitted and not even tucked in.

“HUH ?!?”

Homeless people hanging out around the place plus inside the loby, a big rip in the carpet next to the rock hard bed. its a remodel or a run down hotel but you are being charged top doller. couldnt get wifi and no one that worked there realy seemed to care. i would have been just as happy staying at the motel 6 at under half the price

“Mediocre at best, very unfriendly staff”

I am a High School coach and booked 3 rooms at the Roadway Inn for a sporting event in Fresno with the team I coach. When I arrived, the unfriendly girl at the desk was ready to tell me to get lost because she could not find my reservation. After several minutes of her telling me I was mistaken and that I did not have a reservation, she found it on the counter, all laid out. She did not offer an apology for her error or her rudeness. The rooms were fine, basic, dirty floors, but otherwise relatively clean and serviceable for one night. Upon check out I requested my receipt which I had been promised by the woman with whom I checked in. The woman at the counter this time was - incredibly - more rude than the one the night before. She refused to give me a receipt, saying I had to print one out online. This seemed odd, but ok I can deal with it. My problem was that she seemed to go out of her way to be insulting and unfriendly. Based on the rooms, I would stay here again for a short stay, 1 or 2 nights. Based on the staff, no way in hell.
