Old hotelPosted Aug 31, 2012 on Hotels.com
Very old run down hotel, but housekeeping did their job- room was clean and pleasant. Can feel the vibration of people walking by on the balcony outside your room, and someone was smoking on the balcony and the smoke was drawn in through my air conditioner. Breakfast was disappointing- all carbs, absolutely no protein or fruit on the entire spread, and the coffee was super weak. Wireless was essentially useless- worse than dialup speed when it worked, which was about every 5 minutes. Do not plan on having reliable internet if you stay here.

Best choice for economy stayPosted Jun 9, 2012 on Hotels.com
We arrived at our original booked room (using points, not Hotels.com) and it was awful, so we left and looked on hotels.com and found this hotel. It was a good choice for the price. All others in the area were much higher priced. All in all a good safe place. Elevator wouldn't work and we were on third floor! But comfortable beds, A/C worked, no hairdryer in room but friendly front desk staff member gave me one to use. I would recommend this hotel for a quick overnight stay on your way to Yosemite!

HUH ?!?Posted Dec 27, 2011
Pros: Nice location, quiet, clean room, fridge, microwave, 27" tv
Cons: price, homeless people, rip in carpet, no wifi, did i mention price
Location: nice location, gas, food and shopping all realy close, right by the freeway
Homeless people hanging out around the place plus inside the loby, a big rip in the carpet next to the rock hard bed. its a remodel or a run down hotel but you are being charged top doller. couldnt get wifi and no one that worked there realy seemed to care. i would have been just as happy staying at the motel 6 at under half the price

This wasn't quite what we expectedPosted Nov 29, 2011 on Hotels.com
The Rodeway Inn was a very basic hotel. Our hotel description from Hotels.com stated that there were hair dryers, regrigerators and microwaves in the rooms. When we arrived at the hotel, the desk clerk said that those amenities were only included with the rooms with king-sized beds. We were very misled about that, and it was very disappointing to us. The continental breakfast was white bread, a toaster, and two types of cereal. At least the coffee was hot. The hot tub was warm... not hot. Location was nice, however, in terms of restaurants, shopping, and freeway access.

Mediocre at best, very unfriendly staffPosted Nov 28, 2011
I am a High School coach and booked 3 rooms at the Roadway Inn for a sporting event in Fresno with the team I coach. When I arrived, the unfriendly girl at the desk was ready to tell me to get lost because she could not find my reservation. After several minutes of her telling me I was mistaken and that I did not have a reservation, she found it on the counter, all laid out. She did not offer an apology for her error or her rudeness. The rooms were fine, basic, dirty floors, but otherwise relatively clean and serviceable for one night. Upon check out I requested my receipt which I had been promised by the woman with whom I checked in. The woman at the counter this time was - incredibly - more rude than the one the night before. She refused to give me a receipt, saying I had to print one out online. This seemed odd, but ok I can deal with it. My problem was that she seemed to go out of her way to be insulting and unfriendly. Based on the rooms, I would stay here again for a short stay, 1 or 2 nights. Based on the staff, no way in hell.
