“OK for the price”

Our purpose was an economical clean, comfortable room to sleep in, not a classy place to lounge around in. It met our goal and we were satisfied. But if you're looking for a classy place in a good area of town, this isn't your hotel.

“Rundownway Inn rather than Rodeway Inn”

If you just need a cheap place to crash, conveniently located by all means book a room here. But don't expect much!.Manager tries very hard, but there is only so much you can do with a property this run down. It is also in a fairly bad area. If you are used to going for a run or a walk you can expect to find streetwalkers, drug dealers & a large number of homeless in the area but the motel itself is completely fenced in so you and your car ARE safe while here. On the plus side, it is easy to get to just about any place in Fresno from here, which you'll want to do because you won't want to spend much time in your room. Only limited cable & no wi-fi. The old saying" you get what you pay for" applies

“Rodeway Inn”

We stayed there for the reasonable price, and was expecting our continental breakfast in the morning and we got coffee, orange or apple juice and cereal and dried corn muffins...that was all that was put out...we were the first ones in and that was very dissapointing.

I guess I should not be picky for this price , but please do not advertise breakfast. That is not "continental breakfast". It is an iffy part of town. I would stay elsewhere next time.

“Bad Area”

Room overall okay. Bad neighborhood, people I suspected were hookers hanging around on the street outside. Walls thin enough that I could hear people yelling and fighting two nights in a row from the adjoining hotel. Continental breakfast a joke.

“Neigborhood called Prostitute Valley?”

When we turned down the road that the hotel is located on, we were greeted with hookers at 2pm! The whole road is Hotel alley... by the hour and some up to $20 cheaper than the roadway! There was Spanish music and partying all night (well until 3:15 am). We left at 3:30... just gave up on trying to sleep. That being said, we did get a clean room with a mini fridge... and the lady at the desk was very nice. We were scheduled to spend 2 nights there... needless to say we changed the reservation, and paid $10 more for a great room at Best Western!

and the sheets were thin, worn ... oh well -

I realize for the price that it was not going to be a resort. I did however expect a continental breakfast like Expedia said they had.....but they don't. When I went to circulate the air in the room all of the buttons had been removed from the unit but said " please use wall unit". So I found the wall unit and there was no power going to it. I pushed every button on it even the POWER button but nothing. Cracked the window for a little while until we went to sleep but since it was just my daughter & I , I wasn't about to leave the window open being on the first floor. Also the coffee maker was filthy I ran 2 cycles of water thru but still had junk in water reserve & had to plug it in the bathroom outlet since there was no other outlet accessible. Praying that we didn't take home any bed bugs, the bottom mattress was wrapped in plastic and had a few spots on it....could have just been dirty but looked like little speckles of blood.....ew. We were too tired to try and complain or move.
