Rooms are clean, refurbished and spacios. Inner court has a nice swimming pool and garden with a Zen (smoking) corner. Overall, great facility for decent prices.

Bates hotel anyone?

Posted Mar 25, 2015 on Hotels
My colleagues stayed on the first floor where the rooms had been rehabbed. I had the unfortunate pleasure of saying on the second floor where the rooms were stuck in the 1979's. Outdated, stained carpets, run down. I couldn't get out of there soon enough

Under renovation

Posted Mar 24, 2015 on Hotels
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in the middle of a renovation, which the lobby was finished. So when the renovations are done, it will be a nice boutique hotel. We just happened to have a room that has not been remodeled since the 70s when it opened, I think. The suite was big...the living room needed more lighting, but the bedroom was nice. It looked like people used to stay there for a long time as there was a lot of shelves and storage areas. When complete, it may be more expensive but it looks like it will be a real nice place to stay.

Big Mistake

Posted Dec 31, 2014 on Hotels
Unbelievably decrepit. If you were making a film showing a lousy room, this would not pass as believable in 2014. The TV is from the 1980's, with an actual cable BOX. Filthy, old carpet. Filthy, old bedding. All furniture should have gone to the dump long ago. Oddly, the public spaces like foyer were nicely decorated. There was a pool and "hot" tub. But the spa was freezing cold. A big mistake. Weird parking situation - very unsafe. While fussing with your car, you are on view to bypassers on the street, but not visible to the lobby staff.

Our hotel's number one priority is taking care of our guests and making sure they have an excellent experience. Our hotel is currently under construction with our remodeling process. Great little hidden gem

Posted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: Its a unique boutique style hotel that is very different from anything else in Fresno
Cons: mid range suites a TV in both the living room and bedroom please, & move the coffee tables away from the path to the lights in front room. Shin Buster
Location: Its just west of palm on Shaw, blink and you'll miss it. Fashion Fair mall, lots of shopping, lots of restaurants, and very central to the city.
So this little hotel is a great little hidden gem in Fresno, that not a lot of people know about. They have great rooms, and looks as if they are renovating a ton of them right now too. They also have great suites there that are very reasonable. We like this little place, its quiet, clean, and if you live in Fresno a great place for a little "staycation" on the weekends.
