Much more than expected!Posted Oct 20, 2013
Pros: The exceptionally clean rooms and the comfortable bed and the helpful staff.
Cons: We were in a handicapped room and I didn't like where the TV was placed, it was at a angle to the right instead of straight across from the bed.
Location: About a half hour away from two casinos, Bass Lake.
We stayed at The SpringHills suites in Madera, CA 10-12-13. We were very pleased with our room. It was exceptionally clean and updated. We were delighted our bed was so comfortable as that hasn't always been our experience at other nearby chains. The staff was very helpful with all our needs. There was a wonderful full breakfast included. We will certainly stay here again and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great night at a good price.

Wonderful surprise!Posted Aug 30, 2013
Pros: The staff are exceptional - friendly, helpful, and courteous. They show pride in their work.
We were blown away by the quality of the hotel, but the staff were exceptional. We were welcomed enthusiastically, and everything was made ready for us even though we were there a bit before check-in time. The breakfast was wonderful, lots of options and lots of fresh local seasonal fruit. One of the gals who kept an eye on and refilled the breakfast trays made it a point to go over to every table to see how everything was. She even invited us to take some fruit or a muffin when the breakfast room was closing. The rooms were impeccable. Extremely clean and well laid out with a small kitchenette and a nice office desk, we were more than comfortable for our stay. The pool was a welcome feature on a 104 F day. The restaurant in the parking lot is great for weary travelers and serves excellent food. We would definitely stay again. Excellent value for the money.

Great choice for MaderaPosted Aug 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
Considering some of the other hotel options, I did not have very high expectations for the Springhill Suites. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was very modern, clean, and the staff nice. When in the area again, I would definitely stay here.

Good basePosted Aug 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
Stayed here after visiting the Sequoia NP. The hotel is in the middle of no where but convenient to the motorway. The Black Bear next door provided food. The staff were very pleasant and the rooms were large and clean, a little noise was heard from the traffic but not enough to intrude. Breakfast was typical eggs, waffles etc all in plentiful supply and very enjoyable. A great hotel for an overnight stop.

Very nice hotel in the middle of nowherePosted Jul 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
If you are searching for hotels and this one pops up, book it, you will not be disappointed. I was not expecting much being in Madera but I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived to find such a nice hotel. The lobby is very modern and stylish and the front desk was courteous and helpful. The rooms are huge, mine was a double bed with balcony. There was also an office space with desk, tables, sectional couch and wetbar with fridge and microwave. Everything was much nicer than I had expected. I even printed off some work in the business center in the lobby. There is a Black Bear restaurant next door which will deliver if you don't feel like trekking the 50 feet across the parking lot. This will be my go to hotel if I find myself in or around Madera again. Job well done SpringHill Suites.

Perfect place to stop between Las Vegas and San Francisco. We arrived late, and then it is so great when everything is in order. Even a very good restaurant in the neighbor building.

Awesome hotel!Posted Jul 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
We can't say enough great things about this hotel. The outdoor pool was warm and perfect. The room was stylish, clean, spacious, and had plenty of room for a family of 5. The lobby was interesting and cool and so was the hotel room. On a 3-week road vacation, this was just what we needed.
