“very impressed”

we have stayed in fresno twice in the last month. This hotel is more of a 2.5 star. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. rooms were spotless. will stay there again.

For a totally basic place in Fresno, I've got no complaints. Clean, comfortable, polite staff.

“Good and Clean”

I travel very often which means I stay in a lot of hotels. And it seems to me that some of the least expensive brand names are the ones that I'd always avoid. But recently I've decided to try them out, and I have to say that so far I've liked them better than some of the more upscale hotels. This one in particular! The rooms are very clean and very well kept. The owners who also work and run the place are very pleasant people and make you feel welcome. I didn't spend much for the room but got all of the amenities you'd find in a more upscale location. I'd go back everytime!

“Affordable, clean. Will stay again.”

Extremely helpful owner. Do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Breakfast could be a little more sofisticated. Only juice, donuts, cookies, coffe and tea. I will definetely stay there again.

“I would go back, if I had to”

The hotel was clean, the staff tried very hard to bring up the hotel to four star standards. There is some maintenance that is needed but overall the hotel is in good condition. The only downside is the breakfast which is sparton (orange juice/pound loaf/coffee). The breakfast area was small, no table and chairs in the lobby, however the room had a mini kitchenette (sink, microwave, fridge). The location is not the best (Off of Blackstone, behind a Jiffy Lube) but the staff is very security conscience.

“Will never go back!!!”

The staff (maybe owner) was very rude!!!! Definitely lacking good customer service. I'm never going back and not recommend it.

“100 Degrees and No Ice”

There is a nice Mexican Restaurant a block away. Other than that, there is not much to say about our stay. The room was baking hot when I entered, and it took about 3hrs of air conditioning to cool the room down to a comfortable temperature. The fact that the ice machine ran out of ice made matters worse.

“Not so great hotel in not so great town”

The room was hot when we got in. It looked old but it was clean. In the morning, the owner yelled at me for getting another cup of coffee. She later apologized and tried to explain that she was cutting down on cost. (man, how much can you save from a cup of coffee???)

“Not very good”

Rooms and fixtures are pretty old and broken. Half the lights did not work, remote for the TV did not work, room was smelly. Door to the toilet did not work. Continental breakfast was bad too - stale cake and juice. Not worth the money.

“not impressed”

the bed linens had holes in them. i was not given a non smoking room as requested. the walls were so thin i could hear the tv next door. too noisy. the worst travel lodge i have ever stayed in. very disappointed. mattress to hard and beds were awful.
