Nice modern place; escorted to room by security which made us feel safe but wondering why it was needed. Clean room, overly disinfected to cover smell from toilet water. This faded after a few hours. Very spacious and cool. Across the street from Marriott which has casino, beach, etc. Four minute taxi ride to the Strip.

Sugar bay was a great value it is a smaller place which I prefer. It is also older yet clean and comfortable the pools were lovely however if your looking to go to the beach you do need to take a short walk to the Marriott. A great little place in the front that offered breakfast and also lunch at reasonable prices. Also a small convience store outside the lobby! Had a great time at sugar bay and would definitely go back!

I loved the resort, nice gym, nice pools and proximity to the beaches were great. Cute stores inside too, all very convenient. I liked that you could walk to other restaurants for a change of pace and it was not too far from the strip where there were some fun bars. The landscaping of the resort was beautiful and there were some beautiful feral cats that would beg for food once in a while.
St Kitts in general didn't have the friendly vibe I expected from the Caribbean. Several of the hotel staff (particularly the women) had quite an attitude with us (two women).
We had a garden room, and if I could do it over again I would have sprung for the ocean view. It really is beautiful there. The room we had could get a bit musty, as it is a humid island in general, so a balcony where we could have hung our wet bathing suits and clothes would have been nice. Nice big bathtubs though!
If I go back, I would consider staying on the other side of the island closer to the Spice Mill on the Caribbean side - that beach was about 20 minutes away by cab, and if there are no cruise ships in that day, it can be pleasantly deserted. The beach in front of the Marriott had a lot of seaweed and some rough surf as it is the Atlantic Ocean. White sand, blue water and calmer surf are on the other side of the island.

Wonderful property, huge timeshare villa via the Beach Club, wonderful pools, very freindly staff. Service a little slow, but nothing unusual. That said, almost no servers on the beach, so you have to go to the pool bar area for drinks and food. But overall a great property, would definitely stay there again.

South Frigate Bay is home to a lovely beach, popular with swimmers, snorkelers, kayakers, windsurfers, and jet skiers. It is also a hot spot for nightclubs and dining. Timothy Beach, an exclusive resort, is also here.
