Great value for money staff very helpful. My 13yr son who has autism really enjoyed it he was able to use facilities loves swimming.opening times are great food good, most definitely stay there again

This place needs a revamp. The pool facilities aren't great, the sauna wasn't working the staff were a little rude and at 2am they checked in a couple who talked loudly allllll night into the room next door to me when there were lots of empty rooms. I had to call reception who came and spoke to them which did nothing to solve it. I had a terrible sleep and almost fell asleep driving the next day. Raised a complaint.. was offered nothing except an apology. Psh..

More work required
Clean and well serviced room. Ensuite bathroom was from the 70's, peach in colour. Bath was plastic and flexed when standing to shower. Overall the Hotel was in need of refurbishment. Self-service breakfast was fine but the cooked selection could have been warmer. It was bordering on tepid.

Not the best experience
Sauna non functional, switches itself on and off doesnt get to temperature, licals have been told wiring short. This doesnt sound safe!! Thrown out of steam room because there was an excercise class in the pool!!! I did t pay for a spa hotel to have part time access to faulty/dangerous facilities

A little tired around the edges, but comfortable
The hotel is a little tired, stained carpets, faulty blinds, windows that don't seal correctly but, nevertheless, it's the best hotel in the area. Pleased to hear they are extending their rather limited food menu in the future.

The window had been left open so room was freezing. No mounted shower so only way to use it was sitting in the bath. Had to book a time slot to use the gym but the gym was still incredibly busy with every piece of equipment in use.

I first worked in a Best Western when I was 14, back I the 80s. This one felt like that was the last time it was upgraded. The bathroom was that dull peach so popular back then, with the fan thick with dust and plenty of black marks from damp being left untouched. According to the information in the room room service stopped at 10pm, in fact this was around half 8. It smacked of no one taking responsibility for maintaining the day to day running of this hote either through lack of staff or simply the drop in standards so common nowadays, where the customer is no longer king. Three stars today feels like two stars 30 years ago. A really average hotel charging far too much. The staff I interacted with were fine, it's the leadership that appear to want your money without providing a high quality service. Very disappointing

Tired
Booked for a work trip, hoping to relax and use facilities post work. But hotel is just very dated and in need of some upgrades. Room was freezing, pool, showers, changing facilities are cold and in need of repairs. Showers cold, sauna tepid at best, such a shame as the staff were helpful and pleasant. Tired would be my overall description.

Staff were very friendly on arrival and having free access to the gym and leisure facilities was a bonus for the price! Sadly the jacuzzi wasn’t working and the hotel itself needs a bit of a revamp but overall did just the job for one night!

The staff at reception where friendly and welcoming. Room was clean plenty of towels. breakfast was plentiful lots of choice and staff were polite I chose the hotel because of its facilities pool, whirl pool, sauna and steam room. Enjoyed a swim in the pool and a dip in the whirl pool but Steam room was not working found out from staff it had not worked for approximately 3 months on our second day the sauna was out of action too due to it overheating. so very disappointing as trip was a surprise birthday treat for my partner.

Bathrooms are outdate, peach baths, sinks and toilets, looking like it is from the eatly 1990s, just needs updating to become more modern. Heating is on all the time, rooms are spacious. Staff are friendly and helpful. Only had breakfast which was satisfactory

the ladies at the reception were very professional both check in and check out, however i didn't know check out was 11am.Then this guy comes at 11 30 and says you have 5 minutes to leave he was actually rude and thats why ive given the hotel a low rarting.Breakfast was nothing special but location was brilliant

Pleasant stay
We enjoyed our stay at Frodsham. Staff were very helpful and our room was quiet and had an amazing view back across the Mersey including a sunset. There was a very good choice of food for breakfast including an excellent fruit salad.
