Hilton St. Louis Frontenac

We took our two grandchildren to St. Louis for a trip to the zoo, Science Center, Magic House and sightseeing. We wanted to give them a memorable experience. We chose this hotel as we had been to this hotel over 30 years ago and had remembered the quality that we enjoyed. The hotel lived up to our memories. Upon entering we were greated by friendly people. It was in a great location and had wonderful large rooms that were perfect for traveling. It was a quiet hotel with a great executive lounge that had breakfast, appetizers and then dessert that saved us an enormous amount of money in food. The room service was superb and we enjoyed the attentive staff and reasonable fees for excellent service that you just do not see anymore. The pool was outside and was very clean and you could order food to be delivered so you could eat at the pool also. The resturant on site was wonderful. We ordered steaks and they were cooked to perfection and were much more reasonable that any of the surrounding resturants.

It was an enjoyable stay from start to finish. It was Hilton Hotel quality combined with motel convenience of having free parking near the rooms.

The hotel is very clean. Some people may feel it could use some updates, but we found the cleanliness and lack of bed bugs a plus! The staff was pleasant and helpful. We also took advantage of the hotel restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a central location for the sites while visiting St. Louis. Great value.

The executive lounge is worth the extra cost - free continental breakfast, cheap cash bar for happy hour, free dessert hour.

This is an old hotel which smells musty and overly perfumed. The rooms are large, but nothing special. The hotel was adequately quiet. It was not worth the price we paid, but was one of the cheaper options we had. Therefore if you can get a less expensive hotel you will not miss anything.

Staff at check-in were friendly and agreeable to requests. Restaurant staff were friendly and professional. Room was very nice, cleaned very well every day I stayed.

We were on the ground floor in front & there was some noise from outside, but not too bad. It was surprising that there was not a free breakfast as this seems pretty standard anymore. However, the coffee was excellent & was worth paying for.

TV was virtually impossible to use for normal programming or music. Everything was all about purchasing movies or shows. Very user unfriendly. I ended up accidently subscribing to a movies while I was working to find normal programing and music. I was then charged for it even though I didn't want it.
