Pros: La struttura è moderna e molto luminosa

Great hotel fabulous for familiesPosted Apr 10, 2015
Just had a week here and we absolutely loved it. Lots to do including swimming with sea lions on site! Jet skiing was great fun (extra cost but worth every penny. The only disappointment apart from having to go home was the extra cost for the tennis courts as we were told it was included in the price but we were half board.

Animateurs au TOP ! Hôtel accueillant.Posted Apr 5, 2015
Location: Petit bungalow sympa.
Merciiiii ;)

Nice hotel in a central locationPosted Mar 22, 2015
Pros: on arrival the Reception Staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient. The rooms were well equipped, well maintained and clean. The pool areas were
Cons: although we placed the Do not Disturb sign on the door, the cleaner still woke us up on three mornings.
Location: central location, close to the Dive Centre and recently improved Marina. The beach is well set out for bathers and the more active. Close to town
we had a great holiday from start to finish. The hotel was really good and due to the mixed weather, we took time to explore Caleta. We found some great little bars and restaurants, notably The Pickled Palm and Fado Rock. We also went to nearby Rosario which although a working port was quite interesting.

Excellent location!Posted Mar 16, 2015
Pros: The location and the lovely bungalows.
Cons: A simple solution to the darkness and lack of privacy in the 1000 block of bungalows would be to place net curtains on the patio doors and the windows
Location: Great location right on the beach.
On arriving at Barcelo Castillo Beach Resort the queue to check in was rather long and during our holiday we found this a regular occurrence while passing by reception. This is due to the size of the complex and number of guests staying here. With saying that the staff on reception remain calm, friendly and helpful. We were placed in a bungalow in block 1000 and although very clean they are dark and water runs from the shower into the lounge. We asked to be moved because of this and a lovely receptionist called Ana went above and beyond to find us a suitable bungalow. From that moment on our holiday started. I cannot fault the location, the beach is stunning and the bars opposite the marina are classy. The pools never seem to get overcrowded and there is not a fight for a sunbed. We had lunch and dinner many times at La Perlita just a stroll down the promenade with lovely views over the beach. Other than that there are many restaurants in the centre and further along the promenade taking a left after La Perlita. One of the best we found was 555 Wine and Tapas. Overall a great holiday.

Make sure you get what you bookPosted Mar 12, 2015
Pros: Clean easy access to beach and shopping area.
Cons: if you have a secure swipe card system make sure everyone including staff shut the gates.
Location: there are many restaurants near by and a multitude of bars many of them have live entertainment worth watching there are walks along the seafront
my wife and i spent a week here early march the hotel is very close to the beach and areas are accessible on a card swipe system this would seem very secure but staff continue to leave these gates open in the day so no use at all in day hours anyone can get in .one other point i booked a superior BUNGALOW this I thought would be a single story building but no we were on the ground floor of a maisonette type building.

Ok....not great!!Posted Mar 11, 2015
Pros: Clean, well maintained, modern
Cons: The food offering
Location: Good location and close to lots of restaurants
We stayed at Barcelo Castillo last week on an affordable all inclusive in the sun. Which it could easily be. It is a very well kept resort in a very good position, but misses out on being really good because of a few things. The check in was a little confusing and the all inclusive was not very well explained but once we had done our own research it became a bit clearer (I'll try and explain later!!). The resort is a little bit of a rabbit warren and our room was quite a walk from reception, about 15 mins, and we found it hard to find. I would advise asking to be close to rececption and the restuarants especially if you have trouble walking. The staff everywhere are very polite and helpful even when there is a language barrier and they all work incredibly hard. The rooms are nice and the beds are amazingly comfortable. Once the thick trees outside our room were cut back we had an amzing view (although this was half way through the holiday) but still it was stunning. It would be good to have a tv in the bedroom so you can just stay in bed if you choose, but there is not. There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room which for all inclusive isn't great. There is a fully equipped kitchen which is helpful but no tea towel or washing up liquid, so you do need to do a shop to get the room sorted which is an additional cost. The actual resort is well maintained and modern and plenty of sunloungers available which was great. You do have a choice of pools which is very goo

Nice resort by the beach.Posted Mar 9, 2015
With different buildings maybe too big. It occupies a whole street which means you have to leave your area to go to the communal areas such as restaurant, pools or reception.
