Great location, great beaches

Nice hotel at a superb location. The beaches nearby are amazing. The hotel is specially good if you do windsurfing or kite-surf.

Great Hotel, Clean, Friendly good food, great area

Posted Nov 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our stay was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Constantly cleaning and willing to help. Food was excellent and there were different themes going on each day. The entertainment was quirky but fun to watch and it was different every day. if you didnt want to hang out with familys and children you could escape to the Adult only area. Not sure why when you are on all inclusive you still had to sign for drinks but we had no additional charges. The pools were great, the beach was right outside. The kite surfing was wild and great to watch as was the wind surfing. All in all an excellent hotel and hliday destination. Looking forward to going back.

Amazing location, restaurant queues, mediocre food

Posted Oct 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
The location of this place is amazing. The food is not that great and you have to go through queues to get coffee, bread, fried eggs or anything you want. The people in reception were friendly in general, although we didn’t appreciate that to get “better food” and “no queues” they advised us to upgrade to “the level” which costs 64 euros per day, on top of what you already paid. The pools are great and so are the gardens in front of that amazing beach. The views are fantastic and the location is the best this hotel can offer you.

Large modern hotel overlooking large beach

Posted Oct 20, 2013
Pros: The size and space of the room with lovely view. The pool area was attractive and didn't feel too crowded. Some of the staff were terrific
Cons: Transporting luggage to and from the Beach Houses was difficult. The bill was quite the most complicated one I have ever seen!
Location: 45 minutes from the airport. Good for wind and kite surfing.
A very modern reception with lovely adults only bar. Three swimming pools - two dedicated for children. We stayed in one of the beach houses and had a large room with comfortable twin beds and a small sitting area with kitchenette. We had a good size balcony overlooking the lagoon. The bathroom was very spacious and there was excellent wardrobe space.

Great location for windsurfing, kite surfing

Posted Oct 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is in Costa Calma. We stayed only for one day but the town seems really slow and unless you're in town to check out the wind surfing or kite surfing, there doesn't seem to be much else. Like much else in Fuerteventura, the hotels are set up as all inclusive. The restaurants in the area and the layout seems to really reflect that. The the hotel is laid out with the main hotel and sets of suites that are around it. We styed in one of these suites. The rooms were very large, looked onto the water. TV actually has English sparking channels that isn't BBC news or CNN world news. And because of the proximity of the Rene Egle watersport service, I wished we had spend more of our time here for kite surfing than up north.

All inclusive with restrictions.

Posted Oct 17, 2013
Pros: Comfort, location and food.
Cons: The staff is not as vibrant as in other similar resorts which makes the atmosphere a bit flat.
Location: Rene Egli kitesurfing center which is right next door to the hotel is brilliant, vibrant and a good way to get into the sport.
The spot is a lovely place, the grounds are beautiful, the hotel is slightly dated but still very comfortable and high standard. The all inclusive is good but a few really annoying restrictions, they stop serving the included drinks at 11pm... That's hardly a full evening. Don't expect a proper night club or any entertainment after 11pm.

place to revisit

Posted Nov 18, 2012
loved it and will go back.Went there just before Iwas due to have major surgery for prostate cancer......it was complete therapy...away from it all, miles of beach to walk on,hotel gardens tranquil yet the kids there seemed to be having a really good time....We dont normally do all in as we are real foodies but the food was completely acceptable with enough healthy options to choose from.....We had a car and drove around a little Jandia...lovely...Caleta de fuste..wouldn.t rate...but always loved coming back to our own little haven.

Great hotel for german families and windsurfers

Posted Jun 21, 2012
Pros: Peace, views, location next to a well known windsurfing center.
Cons: Internet only in lobby, cracks on walls, far away rooms, ok food but plentiful.
Location: Beautiful spot, albeit far from the airport and isolated from any cultural experience, other than the sea and its sports.
Hotel about an hour from the airport, very big catering mostly to germans, superbly located in front of the beach with swimming pools and the famous windsurfing/kitesurfing center Rene Egli. Great spot for lovers of these sports. However, the center is quite expensive (e.g. 150 euros for a three hour lesson of kitesurf). The hotel needs some maintenance to keep it in pristine shape. It was disappointing that there was only internet in the lobby (4 euros per hour). About 35% of tv channels were in german, 35% in spanish. The food was ok. The views spectacular. Clearly a mass tourist hotel for german families and couples looking for a quiet sunny island getaway.

Perfect for a relaxing break

Posted Jun 7, 2012 on Hotels.com
Our room was in the Casa del Mar block, these are spacious apartments away from main hotel but first line to the splendid views of the beach. A walk to the hotel but via well maintained pathways and pretty landscaped gardens. We had a fridge and microwave so ideal for us as we were on half board and could make hot drinks or keep them cool. I have nothing negative to say about this hotel, the food was remarkable for a buffet, varied and very good quality. It's a drive from anything actually which for me was part of the attraction, but the roads are good so get your hire car and go !!
